Please don't spread misinformation. Current FC F-15C radar take into consideration: mode, gimbal limits, antenna momentary direction, range, target RCS, radar PRF, target aspect (relative speed, doppler gate), looking up/down differentiation, ground clutter (notching)... but it lacks some modes (ex. supersearch), fake targets, etc.

DLC paid campaigns are encrypted. You can edit them and fly the single modified mission but you won't save the file in ME.

Will we see the Polish Air Force liveries for the F-35A "Husarz"?
draconus replied to LimePartician's topic in Wish List
For sure. We're going to get 32 of them and the 1st one is already flying in the US https://spidersweb.pl/2024/12/pierwszy-lot-pierwszego-polskiego-f-35.html -

F-14B(?) Upgrade as featured in DCS 2025 video
draconus replied to VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Works fine here so a bit more detailed report is needed. -
Update the DLSS preset used by DCS to remove ghosting
draconus replied to sleighzy's topic in General Bugs
This is totally MR/ASW effect - artefacts. The ghosting effect we talk about here from DLSS/DLAA is mostly visible on MFDs as a smeared movement slightly disconnected from the MFD frame. -
TWS is not for target detection. If you play as a lone wolf (which requires constant radar work) and get jumped on at 30nm you probably already lost the battle. Of course the AMRAAM will get you faster. I hope you don't you don't fly straight head on in the process. Btw, where are the patch notes, again?

They're not pushed around. They just take them into consideration. It's a big part of the market they don't want to have locked off from sales.

It's a good map because of the mulitude of missions and it performs well. If you make it fresh and incompatible you lose the benefits. Better make a new different map instead. Imho best to refresh it with new textures, objects and better mountains mesh, optimizing it in the process.

Bugs & issues
draconus replied to Sandman Simulations's topic in DCS: F-14B Operation Sandworm Campaign
Took the #5 second time. No problem with message this time. Still the crew stopped me in the middle of the deck after landing. -
Your flight is delayed to start... again
draconus replied to RotorATP's topic in Forum and Site Issues
This should go here: https://forum.dcs.world/forum/79-mission-editor/ Flight delayed happens when all the airfield's (or carrier's) designated parking places are full or you have a starting time set to later time than mission start. These are basics. If your mission is heavily scripted, DCS is modded and whatnot you'll have to go deeper to investigate.- 1 reply

Have you tried without OXRTK?
-
Have you all missed the memo?
-
Not needed, just pure elevator work, unstable design and inertia.

Where are this pics from? It's a B(U) as (upgrade) - not yet announced by HB. Buttons are moved here: with the ACM switch on the left side (hidden in the picture).

Bugs & issues
draconus replied to Sandman Simulations's topic in DCS: F-14B Operation Sandworm Campaign
#5 - all good but the message "Contact Overlord on button 3" was there up until around WP2. I didn't make it to the carrier though, so embarrassing... -
You're seeing things.

Pixelated shimmering bands in clouds.
draconus replied to VampireNZ's topic in Weather System Bugs & Problems
Yep, since the other thread was tagged "fixed internally" we can expect some fix. -
I agree with this but please show me where I was demanding anything or talk down on the devs? I'm not even that much interested in the topic, I don't ask for any timeframes and I really appreciate the HB's job done on the Tomcat so far, but am not very happy either. Your post sounded like they are some superheroes working for free to please the customers in their free time so I replied and got excrements poured on me in return. I always thought highly of you so I'll assume you twisted my words and totally miss my point on purpose. We have very different opinions on F-14 development obviously. There's nothing wrong with "I don't care about their business" take - that's just one healthy relationship. I do customer stuff - I pay, play, report, help others - while they do their dev's stuff. Do they get paid for it or not is not of my interest. They are not my friends. When they advertise something for the product and then add to it - cool, I'm fine with that, I appreciate, thanks, but what they offered originally is completely irrelevant from this point, ex. I wait for the 3rd campaign (F-14A in PG) because they announced they'll do one, even if they advertised and delivered 2 before, and I will wait for the early A the same way. You advise me to support them with another buy like it somehow would finanse the work on finishing the Tomcat? Then I would come out as another number for the bought Phantoms and will be assumed as someone who likes F-4, so they will prioritise F-4 work even more. And for what? To find out that when I happen to find something wrong with F-4 I will have yet again more things to wait for from HB devs? And if I happen to say a word about waiting for a fix I'll once again will hear that they fix it for free and I better buy EF to finanse that work? Get a grip yourself. I'm not going into that circle. And I don't see how the short patch logs make for any winning when the current bugs list only grows. So, I'm sorry that I don't think of them as superheroes. They may have the right to make money and I have the right to express what I think of it, without offending anyone in the process.

Stennis? That means no deck crew for now, pity.
