Did I misread something or do you have SimShaker transducer mounted to your trip? I’d like to see a transducer mod for the tm warthog stick with extensions.

I’m up for preorder that way I can forget about it and don’t have to check with you periodically let me know I like being happily surprised with stuff shows up

I have the rift s setup also after the rift cv1.

Are these complete plug in\mplay panels or are they just the faceplates

Is this a kit you bought or did you create it from scratch, if later did you write the software that controls the motors

Is the rod that turns the sensors all thread?

Miles I received the parts today what do we use the usb battery checker and how. Also the rift s mount was a little different from the original mount I had. I swap the hms to the rift s mount since that’s the system I plan on using it on mainly I still have my rift cv1 until someone buys it. I know ou didn’t several videos on using the point controller but did you do one on installing the hardware on a rift s or any similar vr hmd? Also are the 2 usb chargers w/o 5vt ? The two cables that plug into the FCU? Also they are two gray items between the FCU s and the hmd in your photo the first one that shows what you get, what are they it’s the one item/s that I don’t see and if you want I’ll send back the cables since I had them already I thought the chargers were something they plugged into. Everything else I received today was new I guess not knowing what everything is is causing the disconnect.

Or find a used tm cougar hotas then convert to magnetic sensors and the throttle to usb by re4ly. I’m awaiting the parts from re4ly

Hey skateziller I haven’t found a way to exit except the “x” in the top right corner. Will that cause any thing to corrupt? Also with the next version can we get an apply button so that when settings are made/updated you don’t have to exit to ensure that the setting is saved I had problems where I’ve had to shut down the os and the app wasn’t closed/exited and settings were lost. Ok I’m conflicted on which module to learn to fly combat missions on. The f-16c or the a-10c? I hear those of you that have learned the warthog say the viper has the same systems or something like that. So being a new fixed wing combat pilot to be which module to learn on the older complete warthog or the new inwork viper? I have both the cougar and warthog hotas so learning will be item for item and for the hotas bound stuff plan on using point controller in vr. Once I go threw the trining missions if not before. I heard to do the training missions on a monitor the graduate to vr. The only problem maybe getting the cougar to calibrate and stay calibrated until I conver to re4ly’s magnetic setup and usb conversion so I maybe slow getting it going. Eventually I plan on having a uh-1, f-16, a10 setups for my pit and if they release a oh58 hotas setup I’ll get it also. Plan on using the tm tpr rudder pedals

Yes deactivate iirc then copy/move dcs directory to new location and reactivate. This because unless I’m confused it uses your hard ward info somehow. I hope I’m wrong as o plan on building a new pc just for Flt simming and will need to move everything over but I’m thinking I’m going to reinstall everything on it’s I’m having a problem or two p,us want to do things in steps as I have several third party apps like VoiceAttack , srs, gametrix seat, etc that might need to be installed clean to get everything to work without problems. My new pc is gonna have three nvme gum drives one for os two 1tb for dcs and xplane then a 4 tb hdd for library function and more for other apps

i just tried the a-10c startup training mission and nrither option works. ive tried itr with the dpacebar set to the default gun/camera binding and with it free from ALL BINDINGS. what do i do next ive updated,cleqned qnd repqired in all orders and nothing works

thd f16 throttle was the cougasr throttle

warthog + vr imo is the best way to go

bignewy its all missions that i have tried. i cleared the hotas spacebar key bind. im awaiting for the message to complete and even waited a minute or more at times. where is the dcs.log located?

would you recommend completing the training missions for the c101 before applying to the usaf track of the academy?

The biggest problem is the missions not responding to the spacebar. If anyone has a clue how to correct this please pass it on

Problems galore Once I get the missions to recognize my spacebar I’ll be able to learn by using the training missions. My first choice would be the uh-1 huey but my pit isn’t setup for helicopters since I’ve not been able to test and mount my maxflight collective. Second choice was the viper but the used cougar hotas is having problems so it is sidelined until re4ly is able to send me an overhaul kit using his new mag sensors and convert the throttle to usb from a d9 connector that must go through.the stick if I convert t I can use the warthog stick since they are almost the same except the cougar uses the old type sensor and the warthog uses heart technology sensors but without the throttle setup which emulates the viper throttle I’ll have to wait on this module. So that leaves me with my warthog hotas and that matches up to the a-10a/c warthog. I probably should try learning the a-10 a but I’m going for the a-10c because I’ve been out of dcs for the past year because health issues early in the year and not getting on a pc for most of the year. Before that I concentrated on the huey with my puma setup but it gave me trouble I may use it in the future but the collective needs a huey head instead of that simple two button two toggle switch setup. So if you have any suggestions I’m open to them.

In the training mission it says hit spacebar to continue, I hit it but nothing happens so I go in to the controls section hit the spacebar it brings up a gun/camera command so I clear it but it still isn’t working in the mission. What is going on I even tried an external keyboard since it is a laptop, Acer Predator 17x. My spacebar is working by the fact that it pulls up the configuration in controls, that also shows that dcs recognizes it but why will it not work in the mission? If you got any suggestions please provide them this is driving me crazy .

that is why when troubleshooting you do one fix at a time then test then rinse and repeat if necessary
