Thanks vpr81 for gibing me the size. And yes the told me they didn’t have any replacement screws. I can show you the email chain. I thought they might at least sell me some,2 ea. But hope I don’t know if it’s because it’s a still new item and they are not repairing them yet or if the are outsourcing the repairs. No we don’t have them check you local hardware store no size or help given.

If it is usb plug n play I’ll take three -
Your correct I should have worded it differently. But if he’s still moving the stick until he sees the same amount of movement he’s used to then he’s over correcting and he needs to block out want he knows and start over and retrain those muscles

I’m not a part of the dcs academy yet I hope to take the course as soon as my equipment is ready. I must have missed a downloadable syllabus I saw blocks of text where each section was posted. I would like a downloadable version so I can have an organized one.

Happy New Year to All Dcs Pilot’s My Blog is going back active this year with a new post every Friday at a minimum the others will be more of the information type You’ll find the location in the footers of my post here. I admit the content isn’t being discussed to the best of my ability at this time I tend to gi ve more content and less structure at this point plus the photos are being left out What may happen after I find my style and monthly layout I might redo the intial article over trying to refine them to be the most code and informative that I can. Happy New Year again

After weeks of trying to get screws from Thrustmaster and finally being informed that they do not have any replacement screws available for the tpr pedals I need to know the size of the screw that mount the little hat shaped piece on pg 16 iirc to the underside of the pedal. Iirc it has to do with the toe brake. I asked tm but haven’t heard anything after being told to go to the hardware store which I did once but never saw anything that small. I live in a small town so I thought if I could get the size I would order several.

My only reason for not building a full size switched cockpit is two fold room and I prefer to fly under vr so it isn’t viable.

Thrustmaster out of microsticks
BlacleyCole replied to CybrSlydr's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
They do not have the little screws for the brake iirc hat to attach it to the pedal either I asked for the size so I could order the correct screws but haven’t heard back. Sorry but i thought it would be applicable here try contacting Rel4y he has modded several Thrustmaster products along with others he might be able to point you in the correct direction. I replaced the slew on my wh throttle and that guy might also know of a source for the micro stick. -

Couldn’t you dumb it down to make it more realistic ie human powered. Forget it after your other posts I don’t care anymore -
Mystery of ../Mods/tech folder in Saved Games
BlacleyCole replied to kfarley215's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
I am wondering if something goes in the saved game folders if you couldn’t use ovgme to install it so if you need to update, repair or clean dcs it will still work and not be deleted in the saved games folder. -
Also I would think that the default missions included with each ac would include those tasking maybe not all in one

Huey is Broken, completely. Not sure what happened
BlacleyCole replied to blave's topic in DCS: UH-1H
I was having problems myself then someone suggested that I deleted the dcs saved games folder so I mad a copy and deleted it and the program rebuilt it and things are great. -
My self I’m still looking for multi crew on the huey about every two seat fixed wing has it.

I had a switch in the wrong position on the wh throttle that caused similar problems -
I wonder if anyone will be producing a collective and cyclic for the oh-58 like thrustmaster did for the a-10, f-16, and f-18? I know tm will not as they only look at the fixed wing side. Even 3D printer files would be nice as I’ve a old max flight collective that I’m willing to modmight even make it modular heads so I can go between the uh-1 and 0h-58. As for te cyclic would like a grip that would swap out with the warthog grip on its base. Plenty of time for some capable entrepreneurs to hit a niche market.

Watched the recording of the previous live stream last night love the helicopter but would prefer scripted demos so it seems organized. I can’t wait for the bird.
-
Not bad but why do the pilots who do videos do not script and plan and practice prior to videoing also I know as a pilot you need constast out of plane scanning but it’s can be nauseating I to watch if it’s done a lot. Motion sickness almost. Off the soapbox now.

TM Cougar & CH magnetoresistive/ hall sensor kits

Rel4y let me know when it’s for sale I’ve got that cougar stick that’s going to be my f16 side stick so why not make it force sensitive -
Thinking of pulling the trigger on WH hotas
BlacleyCole replied to FOXFIRE TWOONE's topic in Thrustmaster
If you want get the f-18 grip and the wh kit that will give you the grips for most of the usaf dcs jets get Tharp pedals mod them with a dampener and you will be trilled. -
Iirc the cougar stick doesn’t have two detents
-
Get the f18 thrustmaster at least if not one of the more advanced units. I went from saitek to thrustmaster and don’t regret it once the only missing feature is the twist grip for the rudder control but if you building a pit you will have pedals. What are you using for the mfd displays?
