What are the prerequisites other than the aircraft?nttr map? Flying experience in the f-16? Tot flying experience?

I’m needing something similar for taxing use a button as a modifier then the roll axis as the control but when the modifier button isn’t pressed it just a roll axis. Can this be done?

Do you have a way to take speech to text back to your computer. Most squads udse srs simple radio standalone and or discord plus TeamSpeak all voice apps without. Being able to receive those instructions it would be hard to participate in a squad grouping. Plus you need to be able to fly all the training missions for the aircraft you wishing to fly with the group initially they will or should teach you the technique of combat where the training missions tougher you the systems. Are you able to do the above I’m not that’s why I’m not in a group any longer after determining the situation.

Tri-I know your trying to build a way to get haptic feedback I. Vr. But have you looked into and tried point ctrl so you do not need the physical panel no haptic feedback but from what I’ve seen and heard from others as my system is down I haven’t been able to test it out yet but if it works, I get voice attack working ll be happy just missing the motion which I don’t have room for without getting an external room either for the sim or my shop.

I’m going to do a unscheduled blog post with photos and a complete breakdown on what was done , its cost as I did it and other mods nomenclature (ie what to look for using google.) the creator that I know of (if I credit the incorrect person contact me so it can be verified and corrected if necessary)after that you get my two cents worth so it only feels right giving you two rations if appropriate. One for the mod and one for the whole kit in the case all the mods in both the stick and I n the throttle atre totaled up with each using the same scale. So basically one rating for the extension mod by Sanhj and another that should add up all the individual mods and total the and that all the mods for the kit. This will be calculated as the 0-5 points for each mod then you count the number of mods on the kit and multiply by 5 this gives you the total possible poinfrth mods by oyou plan on doing to the kit. So by now you got three sets numbers . The first set is the individual mod rating. Next you tally up all the numbers from thr previous endeavor, the totalling them for each kit. Also tally the number of mods in each kit and then multiply by 5and that will be the total points available for the kit/item. They may be a few more calculations added if I feel it warranted.ill let you know when the article is posted or scheduled to be released. I’ve some things to play with here since I’m having a very hard time seeing the keys.

SpeedBird can you please post links for everything if it’s affordable I may build up 3 of these that would mean buying another set of mfds and selling one as a single. But I really would like having a left, right and center display On second thought I might buy 4 more and upgrade them with the panel and selling a set of three for total cost that way mine only cost me labor.

My thoughts on dcs and vr are to start up in monitor mode, configure the aircraft then put on the front headset much like putting on the helmet in hot weather.

So if understand it’s use you first run a trigger the loads mist then shortly later use the same process to load moose as per normal the a third process to load swapr then if configured correctly it will replace all unused client aircraft with ai or must the client be shot down before it replaces it?

Take the info you may need and convert it to png files and add it to your kneeboard folder of the aircraft also take map related info like flip pages and radio freqs for the airfields and do the same except add it to the kneeboard folder of the map then if you create a mission breifing take that info and put it in the mission kneeboard folder. Only use the dcs kneeboard folder for things that apply to everything. Also a mapping of your hotas controls would go in the aircraft kneeboard folder.

I use headset for communications not external sounds. Ie VoiceAttack and srs/discord for multiplayer FOR ALL: Let take photos and show your setups it might inspire others and you might pick up something. I have a bunch of old saitek panels that I used before vr that I might pull out of storage the radio panels especially after seeing the tune the radios in the huey but I’m going to try point ctrl first to see how well it works for me once the pit is back in operation.. my thoughts are use switches to configure aircraft and startup then put on the vr display and use voice as if I’m directing the crew to do things like have the lt seat pilot run the checklist and tune the radios if I get it to work a the door gunners to open close doors and fire or change firing mode. Also, my pit will be convertible from fighter to helicopters to ga/commercial to driving single engine to duel and when the honeycomb beta is released I’ll be able to go up to 4 engines. The pc will have an i9 9900 cpu iirc, gtx 2080 ti GPU, 32 go ram minimum mainly ssd drives except for the library storage drives which will be wd red 4tb drives. Monitor is a 32” curved monitor mounted on the pit about where the front windscreen would be. Tm cougar and warthog hotas, tpr pedals and a Maxflight collective. On the right side will be the modded cougar stick( modded with Rel4y’s magnetic sensors} and a wireless trackball. Plus the honeycomb beta once release if I don’t mount it forward it depends on how it is finally setup. On the left side will be the collective, then the warthog throttle, then the cougar throttle. From inside to out. Warthog center stick with two extensions. When configured for fighter or stick ac yoke for ga/comm ac that use a yoke. The stick will be Velcroed to the base and removed when not needed same for the pedals to allow the tm racing controls to replace them. Lt forward shelf or what ever it’s called has 2 tm cougar mfds and a buddy fox I think. The vr is a rift s. I’m going to try out the vrkb setup using a Wacom tablet for a kneeboard. Also I modded the tm wh throttle with just another slew mod by DeltaAlphaLima1. Have I missed anything? I might keep the pft puma if once I get the pit working and figure the settings out before swapping in the tm gear. Also: my blog is getting a new article every Friday until I say otherwise. I’m trying to have them scheduled for publication a month a head of time. Just finished the second Friday in February over the weekend. Working on the third Friday article now.

That’s what I was thinking and I was going to be upgrading the hard drives for larger ones so to make a thumb drive install for windows then replace the hard drives the reinstall everything from scratch

You don’t is the simple answer What you do is a multi step process. First create or aquire a target profile. Second program the hotas using said profile taking note of what does what. Third load dcs go in to settings and item by item select the task or item in dcs for the aircraft and the hitting the control on the hotas that is supposed to trigger the event or task just like a dumb joystick. Do you follow now then once you have the profile the way you want it save and name it.

I understand the setup now sorry for my confusion thanks for resending the pdf. I was hoping there would have been on showing the mounting of the sensor better and the how to on the stick but after the throttle I should be able to manage the stick.
