There’s several versions in rliirc one has a beefier motor and I don’t think we got that setup in dcs I know one model performs better than the other.

I’m still using the stock spring but when I’m setup for flight in the pit I have added two long extensions to raise the grip to the correct height with the base on the floor .theres a spring made for an extension but I never swapped it out yet since I was flying helos at the time I may swap it out but I’m going to try it as is first if I need a center stop I will have to change it out. My f16 stick is a modded cougar stick mounted to my right.

Back in the 90s I had the f4 stick and the f16 RQS from Thrustmaster and I had two custom built extensions that clamped to the desk and placed the stick and throttle more naturally. By moving the hotas out from the desk the keyboard and mouse was at a natural location. It worked well for what it was. I think the monster tech system is well thought out and useful but pricey

I went with the Speedmaster Flight seat from Germany and it wasn’t cheap because at the time I wanted a rear seat without the front cage and I read here a review from someone here. But now I’ve got it all together at max range for some pieces. I mounted it to a piece of 3/4 plywood with 2/4 risers around the edge for elevation I had a very hard time getting out of it before the platform. Much easier now. My thoughts on any hobby purchase is can I afford it, will I use it, will it help with my emmersion . If the answer is yes then I proceed, I wanted to buy the seatbelts from the manufacturer but shipping was more than the actual cost of the belts I looked on goggle and can get real belts 4 and 5 point cheaper but I haven’t decided on which yet because I’m looking at the mounting setup.

F410/Andre will sim shaker for aviators do anything over the default jetseat software? I you two are the go to guys for dcs and sound as far as I know. Ideally I’d like my setup to be the best available. I want the helmet sounds to come through the headphones then I’d like something for in cockpit sounds, then something for outside sounds and of course I’ll be using the jetseat from Andre. How would I do this? Multiple sounds cards or one 7.1 or two 5.1 sound setups, do I need to run the sound to an amp or mixer external to the computer? Would that transducer that mounts to the sim frame or seat add anything over the jetseat?

If my guess about size is right the box is approximately the same size as the warthog throttle, correct? Have you thought about a forward mounting so the box can be angled in front of the wh throttle especially since the gear and hook handles are in thr angle forward panels of the f18 iirc?

Have you upgraded the pots to magnetic sensors and the game mode d9 to usb?

I. New to tacview when you install it does it configure it for copying the data from your ac but how does it get the data for the other ac does it work with ai? Or do I need to setup up a server side app. Right now I’m running the client side but haven’t used any of the tacview imagery yet since I’m having other problems so is just opening tacview enough to be able to use it and does it need to be running in the background while dcs is running? No I have read the manual or watch many tacview videos. Be busy try to rebuild my laptop after a crash because I ran out of hd space which shouldn’t happen when I’m done installing all the ssds one sata and four m.2 names mainly 4tb for the sata 2tb for a couple of the m.2s that will run xp11 and dcs smaller for the os and other apps.

I’ve tried removing all signs of srs except for the auto Updater.exe file shut down completely and tried reinstalling using the autoUpdater.exe I’m trying to bring up the settings page but I’m not able to bring up anything. When in dcs I have the black windows with red and green tent but I’ve never had troubles with srs I. The past I’m not sure what’s wrong or where to look for it. Or where the CFg data is stored on a drive or in the registry.

Listen to bad crc I’ll bet he ha more hrs in any of the rotary wing aircraft than any three non black shark den members in the same airframe. He trains helicopter pilots with others that have rl rotary experience and they try to follow us army training syllabuses within the confines of dcs something’s are just not doable either because dcs didn’t model it or there is no way to simulate it in a static sim or even a motion sim.

FMD, I thought I had experience flying when I first tried MBP about 2 years ago I was able to start, taxi, takeoff, fly, and sometimes land so I figured them squad would teach me the rest but there were several things missing from my inventory like being able to use the various com systems, or the weapon systems and the mods systems. I had a couple of other problems at the time and tried several squads at the same time but that failed. So my recommendations y\to no pilots to dcs that wish to begin to dcs multiplayer is to complete the training missions for your particular aircraft. And if I read correctly you have the a-10 I hope the c model not the a. So there are plenty of training missions for it plus at least three red flag training campaigns. Also, watch all the Matt Wagner tutorial videos that he did and once you have finished that and single player has nothing to offer you then try looking for a squad with similar goals. Or if your not a self learner buy the c-101 module and get in dcs academy’s pipe line training course. They do both usaf and usn training the splits after level 1 iirc. Plus they are spinning up an aggressor pipeline for the eastern block aircraft. Not trying to bum you but you need to be able to keep up and learn on your own with them as a problem solver if you don’t get something. If you want to do multiplayer and learn the basics then try and find someone like yourself and find a public server or host your own if possible then build multiplayer missions based on the sp training missions in the beginning then expand upon it. The good thing is by the time you complete your A-10 training the A-10 II:will be coming out based on newer tech for the sim and if I understood some of the proposed upgrades the tech that isn’t classified now that was when the original A-10 was programmed. The good thing is ed has an established relationship with the manufacturer and us military. Enjoy

On your keyboard not it the jet

I could be wrong but I believe they are the same brake referee to parking brake when it is pulled and turned and locked into the parking position if you just pull it out it an emergency brake don’t forget the toe brakes on the pedals

Have you looked in to replacing the pots with magnetic sensors and converting the game controller d9 setup to usb a guy going by Rel4y has the parts kits to easily do it that only leaves the buttons, switches and knobs to go bad

Double check that the key bound item doesn’t have a second binding if you don’t find it back up you saved games folder for dcs and delete it run dcs it should rebuild it and see if that helps I had a similar problem where I used a key for something and it stopped working in dcs I reinstalled after a chrash and things good as new then I looked into it and the saved games folder was the only thing that it could have been .im sure it’s a lua or cfgfile somewhere but don’t know the exact one you can start reinstalling the files one by one from your backup that should tell you the one in the future

Let’s use the f-15 since it’s in the fc3 bundle. Go to YouTube do a search for dcs f-15 and several pages of videos come up let’s take two sources Matt Wagner and the grip reapers . Watch a video starting at cold and dark or familiaration then watch it again taking notes then go to the ac run the training mission tat goes with the video go thru the mission over and over un.til your are comfortable then goe to the next video/training mission rinse repeat over and over etc

Very detailed and semi structured which is great for me as I’ve had computer problems the past couple weeks since I had to rebuild after the crash. I’m now about 80-90% setup. If I’m lucky I just need to set the settings for dcs and vr an d keybind my warthog hotas. Then down the road add everything to my pit and fix my pedals.
