  1. Of course, but to be honest I think we can all dream about it, I'm pretty sure lots of plane modules will be made before the U2 theoretically gets a module. I can dream too...
  2. And? His bitching doesn't concern you in the slightest, anyway have you read his message? He asked if the skins were redundant with only minor differences, fair concern if you ask me.
  3. I'll just say what I tried, F/A-18: all the basic stuff you need but it doesn't go into advanced weapons (guided bombs, A/G missiles...) nor does it go into a lot of systems (TGP, radar modes, countermeasures, ddi pages...) it's really not that complete though there already is quite a lot of content, they are probably waiting to do the advanced missions until the systems are fully working and authentic F-16: basic stuff missing, not complete at all F-14: I'd say most of the pilot side is covered, the RIO side is very bare bones though, only some radar modes tutorial, nothing else. Mirage 2000: I don't remember too well but I'm pretty sure you can just about do anything after playing the training missions though I don't know if they corrected their missions to suit the new countermeasures panel. AV/8b harrier: yeah, almost all that is present on the plane is explained in the training missions, nothing to say more... JF/17: literally two missions, startup and takeoff BUT there is a user made training mission set with exactly the same quality if not better than the training missions listed above, plus it's really complete and you learn everything you need and even more, the cm802akg and the laser guided bombs are missing but that's all I can think of weapons wise, I'm pretty sure it covers all the systems, here it is: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=260933 AJS37: Don't remember too much but I don't think they go in depth into the mission computer or teach certain weapons and systems that are pretty important such as the counter measures or the ground radar. Not that complete... A10C: perhaps due to the complexity of this module I would hope for a bit more of missions but at the same time I think that you are combat capable after playing the missions but not for all weapons though, I played the enemy within 3.0 campaign after these training missions and I did have to learn a few things such as setting up new waypoints, using jdam's and other small things. Ka50: I also feel the same way as the A10C Huey:Not a heavy module systems wise so not that much missions on that side though it still really needs a navigation training mission, one nice thing it has are some flying and helicopter handling missions (and videos) which I think are unique to this module in game. Mi-8: I think they suffice since the mi-8 isn't that heavy systems wise, has some navigation missions too but no handling missions like the huey which is a missed opportunity because flying them is really quite hard. Sa342 gazelle: The missions are pretty much a joke, you do learn how to start the helo but other systems such as the camera and the INS are shown so quick and without any depth that I no joke remember having a 10 second training mission, other things are missing too. Pretty much all I can say
  4. Creating a U.N faction would be like creating a NATO faction, it's respective countries that can decide the quota of soldiers they want to send in the blue helmets but they still remain the country's soldiers only under U.N command. I also must agree with the post above :D
  5. Just my opinion on this one but I don't think hope is lost for these planes, it's mind melting maybe because we think we won't get one but instead get a similar export variant. It could also be mind melting because if we end up getting a mig29K for example, it would integrate with the kuznetzov for naval ops and with the upcoming Syria map meaning this plane is going to singlehandedly give a large chunk of redair/Russian plane ops to the community that wanted it for so long (me included).
  6. I am not saying don't buy the f16, it is good as it is but clearly not complete, at first I thought this wouldn't bother me because features would roll in progressively and I would have time to learn or enjoy them individually but having just bought the almost feature complete jf17 I must admit that having an already very complete plane just feels a thousand times better than the f16 that has (I think) so few working systems and weapons. Regarding your question, I'd still say that the f16 is totally combat capable for A/A, I mean it has a radar, aim120's, TWS, ACM modes with the JHMCS, EWR, countermeasures. For A/G though you won't get far, it has a cannon, dumb bombs, dumb cluster munitions, unguided rockets, and a basic implementation of the litening pod with laser bombs but no A/G radar, no AGM missiles and just isn't complete as of now. On top of that lots of funtions and pages don't work, I'd say more than half at least don't work. The FM seems fine to me. Here's something too: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=241132 So in the end buy the f16 if you want, it is of really good quality right now but barebones, I know that in the future I would prefer much more a feature rich plane such as the jf17 was at launch but it's your choice, either you get it now, either when it's finally finished
  7. I do agree with your guesses, seems like feasable aircrafts to have too, but if I recall correctly, ED has said that their module will be "mindmelting", so at this point I seriously don't know what to expect.
  8. Why? Don't be so confident except if you've got some information from the developers
  9. I think that mig29 export versions would be possible to recreate without the lissensing issues you would get from Russian mig29's. So +1 for mig 29 (k)
  10. I heard that having export versions such as the mig29K or the su30 (mki I think) would be possible.
  11. Actually for the syria map that makes sense, we've got most american fighter already fa18,f16 (f14) and the f15e comming latter, but no full fidelity "modern" russian plane, would be very fitting if we got it. edit: while it is fitting it doesn't mean it will be possible
  12. Yeah they can take notes but this won't help them if there are dealing with technical game issues.
  13. Thanks a lot for this very complete answer, I really appreciate it
  14. Thank you so much for this post, I noticed you also want a full fidelity modern russian plane such as the su27, this is by far my most wanted thing to be added in DCS, not to say that american planes are bad, but they sorta feel a bit boring because that's what I mostly see irl, having a russian modern fighter would bring this equally as huge eastern side world of aviation to DCS and show what the modern russian side looks like. The jf17 is already the first step to this goal and thankfully it was wonderfully done, the next step is the full blown russian fighter. Yes I do get there are licensing issues and such but I still hope one day...
  15. The J-8F looks awesome, was the design inspired or borrowed from the su15 ? Because they look very similar in their exterior
  16. 2016 Track IR 5 at 160 euros without the clip ? I may have misunderstood but on their website, the newest track IR 5 bundle (with the clip) is 170 (dollars) and it's brand new. Are you sure that's the price you want to sell it ?

    F-15E?

They say the joke is the funniest if you tell it once, unfortunately that's not the case for yours
  18. Yeah, I also feel like some of you guys, at the moment the only thing the supercarrier really has is cool animation and fancy models and textures (the LSO station too but it's just a camera view), but aside from that, playing on the normal stennis, I just feel like it's 90% the same experience, the 10% difference being the catapult hookup and launch. I just feel like it should be called "Super catapult launch" and not "supercarrier". There is no new " logic " for this module aside from this aforementioned catapult launch. But hey, I trust ED is going to add all the needed features and functionality in due time, it's still EA after all, though this module is just so incredibly barebones at the moment... Just my opinion, take it as it is.
  19. I'm just here to express my undying dream to have a full fidelity modern Russian plane.
  20. Thanks for acknowledging
  21. Why isn't there an option in your poll to leave things as it is ??? It looks very one sided if you omit including this option.
  22. My biggest wish would be full fidelity su27/mig 29 (or any modern russian plane or helo in fact) even though there are lots of discussions regarding licensing and stuff like that and I get it would be hard having these modules. More realisticly I'd like the the uh60 or the ah64 for helos and the IAI Kfir for planes.
  23. SU27 dream plane for me, but that aside does this poll actually have any significance ? Did ED respond or have acknowledged this poll ?
  24. Sorry if I can't check out your track file right now, did you TDC depress while trying to steer the slam ? You steer it exactly the same way you do with a agm65F so if you can do it with the maverick there's no reason it shouldn't work on the SLAM. Edit: also don't forget to select the correct DDI
