"DCS track file How to save a track for support and future replay Please fly the mission showing the problem. You always can set up your own quick mission to demonstrate the issue. Then close the mission, during the debrief screen you can save track. This track can be found in C:\Users\<User_name>\Saved Games\DCS[openbeta]\Tracks ..." the shorter, the better.

reported Huey's new performance profile discussion
Tom Kazansky replied to Tim_Fragmagnet's topic in Bugs and Problems
Tim has made the point: the FM isn't correct (enough) yet, and they are working on it. In a very comprehensive way imho. What more can we ask for? Let's move on.- 96 replies

Have to bump this thread. The DCS hog is awesome. Whenever I come back from the new, fast and fancy fighters, the hog feels like a dream to fly. A blast for close air support. An exceptional situation awareness with the HMCS. Thank you so much ED for never giving up the hog.

And after that, never ever come again to the forums. It is not that is against the rules, and I wouldn't bother, I just wonder why those threads are started by new accounts that are never used again. There are other examples too.

That would mean another button. I'd prefer a simpler solution as an option posted above. All of us that search the mouse pointer or don't even remember if we let it just disappear with time or turned it off by button don't remember it's position anyways. Otherwise there wouldn't be a problem to move it into sight. So why not simply let it emerge right in the center of the view whenever it is turned on again from either of the both off-states that are implemented? ED should test this and offer it as an option imho. edit: is there any use of the mouse pointer beeing able to be moved outside of the VR mask? Am I missing something?

I wonder if this is again one of those 1st and only posts of a new account to keep us busy.

In the sensors section of the controls are 2 bindings for brighter and darker. I have the German version so I don't exactly know the English terminology.

Announcing the F-4 Phantom for DCS World!

Labels look good without saltwater in the air. -
Yeah, I've experienced a lot of strange up and down pumping maneuvers of the wingmen when the leading aircraft gets slow (but not too slow) these days. So I guess there is a good chance that after another ED AI update those guys will do everything right some day. Guess for a campaign creator most of ED's updates mean a lot of "excitement". I'm gonna move on to the next mission. Keep up the outstanding job

Ok... Then I suggest a solution to cast a shadow over an MFD by pressing and holding the right mouse button on its screen. For I wouldn't like to have another 3 or even 4 buttons to bind. Edit: this wouldn't break immersion even in VR because for a shadow you have to get one hand from the HOTAS and use it for this purpose in a similar way.

hi there, moving on with this awesome campaign, I ran into an issue in Mission 13 with the A-10C II (current stable version of DCS): After clearing all enemies (65/65, see screenshot) the 2 friendly AI Mi-8 choppers tried to land at WP "Pappa". Nearing their landing zone their formation got closer and closer, so that they even tried to fly above each other (observed from a close F2 external view), what got me worried. The next thing I heard on the radio from one of the choppers was "... I'm hit... going down.." and it crashed, what made the mission commander order the second one to abort the mission, and that Mi-8 headed away. The score-log-page and my observation show there was no enemy fire, in fact there were no enemies left since 3 minutes before. No, it says "Uzi 1-1 (Mi-8MTV2) hit Uzi 1-2 (Mi-8MTV2)" and "Uzi 1-2 (Mi-8MTV2) hit Uzi 1-1 (Mi-8MTV2)" at the same time, and that led to a crash of Uzi 1-2 and killed the pilot. See attached screenshot. It's not a gamebreaker, because I still got a score of 56 in the mission, but maybe it is something that can be fixed for an even better experience. Thank you! ( @baltic_dragon Love your campaign and this is definetly something, that came with AI updates, I'm sure. So no worries.) (It's German, so: "Treffer" = "hit", "KI bricht mission ab" = "AI aborts mission", "Pilot tot" = "pilot killed" "Abschuss" = "shot" "Absturz" = "crash")
