  1. I haven't had a chance to try it out but did the last patch sort out the fuel consumption?
  2. This affects all comms from what I can tell and not just contacting the ground crew. Even trying to bring up Comm 1 often requires toggling Comm 2 to get Comm 1 to come up as a menu. Hopefully this will get reported as a Bug and will get sorted out ASAP.
  3. Good thinking. I was trying to use the default loadouts the campaign creator made the missions with, but they are all buggered now anyways after Razbam updated the Harrier loadout scheme. I like your idea of taking the APKWS tho, may have to re try the whole campaign using custom loadouts.
  4. It feels like its using waaay more than it used to, which after reading the above linked discussion (thanks for posting) appears to be some kind of error or bug. I mean, with the price of av gas these days....come on man!
  5. Speaking of upgrades, it might be just me but I think the US Marines Skin has finally been fixed. I'm seeing a more grey modern look than that bizarre blueish tint that seemed to plague the poor bird. Thumbs up for upgrades!

I agree as long as the unreliability of the turret is properly simulated, so 50% of the time you use the module the turret seizes, something like that.
  7. I'd also like express my thanks! I am just a couple missions in and it is just great to have something of this high quality for the Harrier! Looking forward to the rest of the missions, but what a treat I've already seen, thanks a million.
  8. Nice! Sounds good, thanks.
  9. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but some of your mission loadouts have been nullified by the recent update to the Harrier stores carrying options. Mission 7 for instance doesn't even the load the GBU's it used to as they are now on an incorrect station. There may be more missions with these issues as well but I have stopped @ 7. Just an FYI...
  10. Just something to keep in mind, yes the difficulty is high but I did a bit of research into the GAU-8 for instance and it is effective up to 2-3nm even if you aren't getting the gunsight ''in range' queues. I can't remember which mission it was as its been awhile but I kept getting nailed by MANPADS due to entering their WEZ but once I figured out I could put a pretty tight dispersion using the GAU 8 from 2 miles away it significantly reduces your exposure to ground fire. Dip below the clouds out of range, find your targets with the TPOD and mark them and make diving attacks above the clouds with the gun. Just a suggestion.
  11. No I didn't propose that at all. I proposed that it may be better to have FC3 grade REDFOR aircraft versus NONE. Plus, there are probably 4 people on these forums that would be able to say 'Nope that SU-22 doesn't fly like the real thing I was in'. Give the people something that works and is believable and based on available data and its better than nothing...my opinion.
  12. Even a 2022 quality FC3 type Red For pack would be awesome. Update the older Red modules and add new ones with modern models etc. I would rather have slightly less interactive Red For planes than none at all. That's one way around the issue as I see it.
  13. Sweet deal you found a fix tho, nothing worse than a bug you can't ever find an answer for! Nice work.
  14. Looks like your campaign got the shaft in the last update! I was hoping to be playing it, but I can be strong and keep waiting!
  15. Correctamundo! This is the way.
  16. Another thing to check with laser guided weapons on the Harrier is a lot of the time the TPOD starts out with a laser code of 1111, while the weapons typically default to 1688. Check your TPOD before employing anything, this can be done in the DMT menu or the EHSD.
  17. Hmm, in my experience the groups don't stop for long when you hit them with Mavericks and that Hawk site is constantly lobbing missiles at my flight hence why I tried doing it with a modified loadout to keep my distance. I must be doing something wrong or just suck as hitting 8 moving targets with 6 weapons and an AI wingman that won't do anything while being lit up by an enemy SAM site seems impossible to me. Thanks for the advice on how to complete this mission, but I think it will be getting the skip button. If I could offer a bit of constructive criticism it seems like this mission is just harder than it has to be? I mean it would be tricky enough IRL just finding moving targets at night and engaging them, but doing that within the weapons envelope of the SAM site seems insane? Or has something in this mission broke and there is a SEAD flight that is not doing its job? Anyway, I've enjoyed the campaign up to this mission.
  18. Just wanted to bring attention to the new FARP type I just noticed in this latest patch. It looks like Marsden matting type stuff, I tried making a runway out of a bunch of them for a Harrier FOB type thing but the planes bounce between each tile it looks like, I haven't tried fiddling with the spacing to see if it works. Anyways, maybe this isn't new but I just noticed it and thought others might like to know! The can be found in the mission editor under statics - heliports. If this is common knowledge I apologize!!
  19. Im not an expert but I've seen these kinds of posts before and it tends to be an issue if the spacebar is assigned to a different command for the aircraft already. Check your binds and make sure this isn't the case and if it is delete that binding for the spacebar and you should be good.
  20. Hi SorelRo, Just curious about the design of this mission, I can't view the conditions in the mission editor for victory so I figure I should just ask. I modified my loadout to take 4 Mavericks and I destroyed 4 SCUDS and then strafed the other two for a total of six. When I landed my score didn't go to 100 so I am assuming the player needs to destroy the AAA units attached to the SCUD convoys? If that's the case, my question is why? Wouldn't just the SCUDS be considered good enough as the briefing suggests?
  21. Hi Chill. I was wondering if you'd be willing to provide on update on when this campaign will be available? Maybe you could throw the Harrier crowd a teaser first mission to tide us over?
  22. I'm sorry but the logic of your train of thought makes too much sense and puts the responsibility on the party in question. How dare you ask that of an individual in 2022!
  23. Yes, all the technicals with the 12.7 and 23mm now have the Insurgent crews modeled.
  24. No its not just you, its louder than it should be on the lowest volume if you ask me. Like you said hello Tinnitus if you fly the Harrier alot of a busy RWR enviro.
  25. Say it aint so? I bought the Apache and its a great module but I've been holding out hope for the Cobra in some capacity, preferably the 1W. I always chose the Cobra over the Apache in Gunship 2000 as a kid, don't ask me why but I just liked it better!
