It is always needed if you want to make sure the team can quickly look at it. Bignewy did look at bugs without tracks often, but it still ensures a quick work. "Just always upload it" is my mantra.

I use it quite often, and never did it NOT work with Rctrl + Enter in all of the years I am flying DCS. It works now, as well. As we speak, actually, and in the Hornet:

Practice. When the real bird doesn't have HOTAS commands for that stuff then I refuse to put that on my HOTAS as well. Between using the TDC select options and some clicking with my mouse I don't see differences in my speed of working avionice between the Hornet and Viper.

Nah, Viper is super easy. Move into position, formation fly for a few minutes, done. With the higher fuel flow of the boom it's faster as well.

Carrier ops, avionics, more efficient multirole and it just looks so, so much better.

What do you mean by that, and what sources do you have that indicate tha AZ/EL and the HMD should interact?

Because unlike what you said there is no hint at them rushing stuff and not implementing stuff only to get the Hornet out of EA. Also even if they did, the Hornet will still be updated, even if it's shipped as "feature complete". Until they say "we won't implement this or that for X, Y or Z reason" there is no reason to believe they won't. (Also I am fairly certain that I read Bignewy commenting on one of the dozens of radar threads around that more MSI will be coming up, but I am entirely too lazy to look that up now)

That actually means them implementing this, tbh. It will certainly come.

Hook skip etc. is already a part of the F-18, more hook and airflow physics for the Hornet will be made for the F-18 by ED anyway.

No. When you end a mission you have the option to "save track" in the end screen. The resulting .trk file is what's needed for meaningful bug reports.

It's got a freaking large radar dish and powerful emitter. Old does not mean weak, by necessity.
