Better LSO / Touch n Gos / Persistent Gradesheet
Jackjack171 replied to Stearmandriver's topic in Wish List
+1 my friend. I just want the ability to re-enter the CQ pattern after I launch without having to go back through Marshal. The fact that the LSO doesn't recognize that you are in fact "CQ-ing" is crazy! -
Any chance for an update regarding the progress of the F18?
Jackjack171 replied to nickos86's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
Umm, this is a public forum dude. Send them a PM or something if you want to take that stance! But good luck with that...Lol -
I concur my friend!

This would be interesting to see. We only used to do it for the Legacy Hornets though. We had to use a towbar and tractor for the Rhinos as they were more "sensitive".
-
It's called a spotting dolly. We only use that in the Hanger bay. Its specifically designed (why it sits so low) for Hanger Ops. The Flight deck Tow Tractor is A/S32A-49 is used on the roof. Hope this helps.

I'm not a pilot, I was a Flight Deck Director and a Crash and Salvage guy. It's actually called the Round down. The deck gets really jacked up on deployment from the fuel spills, oil, and all other lubricants. The gritty paint on deck is called non-skid. It gets worn a lot and in certain places, more than others. I've peeled it up on deployment because we got a bad batch. We have a cleaning plan for the deck that the FOD TEAM handles. They have a daily scrub plan. They also have a machine called a scrubby. It sucks out the padeyes and gets up the big spills. The Landing area has a different type of non-skid due to the impact on the A/C tires there. The LA gets really worn. I've actually had to paint the deck on deployment because the paint begins to fade. The pics you see of various carriers will always vary because there are so many factors involved in the way the deck is operating at that time. I hope that helps.

You make sense man! Thank you!

My quote was meant to make a point about things being easy. That was my entire point for posting. SOMEONE in this thread SOMEHOW took everything I said personal. But I'm here for it. It's nothing but a thing! Easy like Sunday morning! Peace bro!

You should stop. You look childish. It was never an argument, just a discussion! Therefore, I had nothing to lose. There was never anything to win! That you don't get that part is funny and sad at the same time. I've survived 7 combat deployments; this is nothing for me to get bent out of shape about! I'm not even mad and never was. You are very emotional and it shows! I speak with authority and if it is a problem for you then it is just that, YOUR problem! Definitely not going to back down to make you or anyone else feel better! I will continue to give my contributions to this community, the same as YOU do! Tone! Men do not give a hoot about tone. That's nothing! You sound very sensitive here! Using terms like abusive and aggressive! You've never seen that before! I KNOW you haven't! I feel I am dealing with a little boy instead of a man (makes sense if you are a boy). But you be cool "Brother"...honestly, if you are this passionate about me you should focus that energy practicing your AAR or anything else you need instead of looking for a cheat! Something to ponder! As my Former Drill Instructor Brother used to say: "A man looks at the wall and decides to climb it. The boy or coward decides to go around it"
-
Again, you missed the point entirely, like so many others! Do as you please, no ones stopping you. I guess I like a challenge as opposed to the easy way! Cheat away! And since you are good at dissecting what I said and failed, focus!I don't care about cheats and handicaps. I don't control you or anyone else as you eluded to. You said I object. Let me be clear, I do not! I just think it's a weak and very lame way of doing things. But if it makes you feel better at night, then so be it. How does it feel to know everyone else climbed the wall, and you ran around it? Yes, this has run it's course. I'm out! If you felt any of this was hostile, then you have a lot to learn because that was nothing! It actually made me laugh that you would even use the word! Now I see who I'm dealing with here. All I needed to know! Peace bro
-
And there it is! It is just a game! You think you are very smart when in fact, you just proved my point. It seems as if you don't really live in reality. You want it to be one way! Your way! There's black and white! Opposite ends. Either do it or don't! Pick one! Use all the big words you want. Sounds childish if anything! Like someone said, we already have easy AAR! If you are in fact an adolescent, I apologize. But if you are an adult then you should be capable of knowing the difference. Learning tool! Crash, then start over! RTM! Check out the plethora of tutorials. But don't come with that weak argument of it is but isn't! And I don't need my post to work! I'm not trying to win an argument. But I stand by what I said. I've put my nuts on the line for what I believe in IRL. Have you? Have you been in a real sim? Reality and this game are two separate things bro.
-
You are under the impression that life is easy. If that makes you feel better to have a convoluted way to look at things. It's still a cheat and still looking for "easy street". I've been in a real life simulator while on active duty, an E-2C! It was not easy! Do you think they add in cheats so that the real pilots have it easier? But I guess that's a contradiction too! Not very manly to want things easy bro. Yes this is a game and I get it! But the core argument is funny and sad at the same time! A parallel road? I think you mean parallel universe. Because that's not reality my friend!

Yes, yes! I came over from Xplane and MSFS since 2002. I've been waiting for everything we now have in DCS. Waiting is nothing! -

LOl a month is not a long time at all. Unless one is just an impatient individual with nothing else to do. I get it, it's a high you need for your life. We shouldn't act like petulant children with these "updates for updates". It's the equivalent of "Are we there yet, are we there yet" that you get from children. Come on bro! Now if you are in fact a child, then that's understandable! Men don't whine! -
Um, they are literally polar opposites bro. But hey, it's all make believe anyway right? What was I thinking! Lol
-
Focus on AOA as said before. Don't worry about airspeed. You'll be fine!
-
So, is the vote for "Easy Street" or realism? You cannot have both! LOL This Thread really escalated!
-
These days, only the E-2/C-2 need a Huffer. All Growlers and Super Hornets have APU's.
-
Aren't you just spinning your wheels if your equipment is not up to snuff and/or don't have time or resources? I care not what cheats gets added or what does not. I don't care what a user decides to turn on/off. None of this ruins DCS. Just waters it down a bit. Wishlist are fine when they are focused on actual needed things like comms and weather. All others should be bottom tier items. This whole all inclusiveness argument though is very weak and for weak minded individuals. Why take on something you are not equipped for, then ask for others to cater to you? If the minimum requirement is 50 push ups and you can't meet the group requirement, is everyone supposed to lower the level to cater to you who cannot meet said requirement? If DCS needs 4GB's and I only have 2, I need to get more money to get that other 2(no matter the cost), not ask ED to lower the GB's! The weak or unable (for whatever reason) either get stronger or they get weeded out! If you don't have money to buy something, work more (or steal it, JK) and wait until you do. If you can't hack it, get stronger and come back when you CAN hack it. I'm sure SOMEONE will miss my point! lol You have bench riders in sports for a reason gentlemen!
-
I guess, if that works for you!
-
Thank you! Someone understood what I was saying!
-
Obviously you missed the point as well. Not going to debate with people that cannot read between the lines. Dude you cant be this sensitive! Really! I don't try and dictate anything. That's not why I posted in the first place! If that's how you took it then so be it! I made a comment. The same as you all do day in and day out. Do as you please. That's your right! No one is stopping you! But I stand by what I said. Anyone with hurt feelings about that, then that's their problem. As for your assumption as to what I do or don't, nice try! I could get offended but I've heard worse while deployed IRL! Sounds like you are taking this personally. It also tells me you did NOT read what I posted in it's entirety! Either that or you have trouble comprehending. This was MY comment and contribution to the community. I may be direct in how I say things but I am firm in them as any man would. Comes with leading men and women for over 2 decades. No apology is needed. This was supposed to be a discussion but people like you and others either missed my point altogether or chose to ignore it.

I'm not. Either way, it's the same thing but oh well.
