  1. So, i start the new year by buying the A10C 2 and have a small issue with SRS. I created a profile for the A10C, as i have a Warthog throttle and want to keep it as in the real jet and use different PTT buttons for different modules. But how do you change the radio switch, so i can use the PTT without the radio menu coming up? Hotas Mic Switch forward = (call radio menu) is set by default Hotas Mic Switch forward = (VOIP) i want to bound this one, but can't?? The option is there in the controls list, but they are "greyed out" and can't assign a key to them. This is for both the A10C and A10C 2 I really can't see why, or it might be the booze from last night
  2. There are some more posts about this. All of them are getting pretty much ignored by ED it seems, or it's very low on the priority list. I think it's a very annoying issue and should be relative easy to fix [ALREADY REPORTED] F-16 Radar Elevation 11/17/19 - Controller Questions and Bugs - ED Forums (dcs.world) F-16 antenna elevation is too fast - Controller Questions and Bugs - ED Forums (dcs.world) Radar antenna elevation too sensitive, difficult to adjust precisely. - Controller Questions and Bugs - ED Forums (dcs.world) Radar elevation sensitivity - Controller Questions and Bugs - ED Forums (dcs.world) Radar elevation - Controller Questions and Bugs - ED Forums (dcs.world) [REPORTED] Radar elevation way too sensitive on button - Page 3 - Controller Questions and Bugs - ED Forums (dcs.world)
  3. Was able to reproduce in SP. As soon as all Mavericks are gone, i can use the RAID/FLIR FOV switch again Zoomnotworking.trk Zoomnotworking2.trk
  4. As per title. Happened to stumble upon this when flying in multiplayer. Had a Lighting TGP and Maverick E (laser) equiped and could not use the zoom function on the TGP with the RAID/FLIR FOV button . TGP was on right DDI and so was the SCS indicated by the asterisk on the right. When i fired all of my Mavericks, i could use the zoom again with the RAID/FLIR FOV button Was a MP flight, so track was too large to upload
  5. Yes, that is totally possible in the real jet. As long you have WoW, Master Arm to safe and Ground Jettison Enabled to off, you can "mount" anything you want. From fuel tanks to different weapon pylons to the weapons itself. This is also how we test weapon pylons and launchers etc, after installing them onto the wings.
  6. Bump When is this annoying issue getting fixed? It's close to impossible to make small adjustments to radar elevation with anything but an axis
  7. Well, only things i can think of then are EEG switches (Engine Governors), Fuel pumps or Fuel shut off valves If not, i suggest you upload the track, so we can see what you are doing
  8. Rotor brake turned off?
  9. Did you select the Engine nr1 with the 4 way switch? Default position is APU, you need to manually select who you want to start i.e. engine 1 or 2 and APU. After the engine spools to 20%, raise the red lever on the left side by clicking it once
  10. Works fine here
  11. Fair enough, that explains it than
  12. So, i tried this new feature and it works great on tanks and apc's etc. However i cannot get it to not work on civilian cars and trucks. Is this intentional or is it a bug?
  13. If OP had wingtanks before rearming then this might be it (and yes, it's a bug) Or fuel slider not maxed out?
  14. Master Arm switch? Not holding down weapon release switch? Forgot to put the cartridges in the MAU-12 rack? Kinda hard to tell without a track
  15. The intercom knob controls volume of some cockpit sounds, including Betty (or atleast *should*, dont know if it works in DCS)
  16. Re-read my post above... there are different systems used on different Blocks. A F-16 and a F-16 can be completely different
  17. There can be different systems used on the F16 for INS/GPS depending on the Block Besides that, i really dont get the point why people are so keen to go to 6. In DCS there is no noticeable difference between 1.0 or 0.6. It's just a number
  18. If you do align them on the ground, try aligning them on something further away No, you can use them straight away if you power them on again Yes, it's to protect the seekerhead from overheating (in RL) The missile has limited cooling capability and you may run out if you leave them on to long. However, in DCS you can leave them on You can use DMS down to toggle it on or off. No need to turn the system off completely
  19. Still i think it should be changed. The A-10C and F-18 are the only module where laser codes for the bombs can be changed inflight, which is totally unrealistic. These codes can only be set on the CCG of the bomb itself using a flathead screwdriver (which is kind of hard to do inflight ) There is no interface (cable connection) between the bomb and airplane.
  20. If you have these above problemen, then you did something wrong. Also, don't forget to confirm the coordinates when doing full alignment and rotate the knob to NAV when finished Alignment doesn't go past 10 anymore like mentioned already
  21. yes, its possible in the same way as i posted earlier, but now you need to modify the DED file and add it to you moniter setup file again I'm away from my PC for a while now, but i think the DED folder is in the "Displays" folder aswell
  22. Take a look in DCSWorld/Mods/Aircraft/F-16C/Cockpit/Scripts/Displays/EHSI/Indicator. The file you need is called EHSI_init.lua Open the file and add these lines at the bottom (if it's not already there): if not USE_LCD_MFD then --ViewportHandling dofile(LockOn_Options.common_script_path.."ViewportHandling.lua") update_screenspace_diplacement(1, true, 0) try_find_assigned_viewport("EHSI") end Close the file and save it. Now go to your monitor setup file (since you have a cockpit setup for F18, i presume you have this) and add: EHSI = { x = 790; y = 700; width = 350; height = 350; } Change the numbers x/y and width/height to suit your screen (this is from mine, so it's different for you)
  23. A screenshot shows nothing, try to upload a track
