Fellow weapons here

Im not a pilot, but i do work on F-16 s every day
-
Not sure about the ECM, ill have to look that up, but that config is 100% Cat 3
-
Not true, the Sniper pod for example is Cat 3. During BFM training we remove the pods to prevent damage due to high G forces during training
-
It's not the station which is the issue, it's what you mount to that station. You can hang sta. 1 2 3 7 8 9 with A-A missiles and its still Cat 1. Replace 3 and 7 with a Mk 82 and it becomes Cat 3, same station, different load Centerline tank is 100% Cat 1. We use that config for all our BFM training (in RL)

Depends on the display themselves, some are fully digital in RL

what kind of quality I should expect from AMD 7900XTX on VR
Falconeer replied to Joker Shadow's topic in Virtual Reality
I have a 7900XT with a 5800X3d. My VR set is a Quest 2 and i'm very happy with this setup. Like above, im running the headset on 90 Hz, but don't have it locked at any FPS, as i don't have had much time for finding perfect settings and flying due to work. So far i have most settings maxed and my system handles it pretty well -
w.i.p Apache (George Pilot) ability to steady hover is very poor
Falconeer replied to mdee's topic in Bugs and Problems
He is still oscilating left/right in a hovercraft. Issue is not fixed When in CP/G seat and looking down, you can see the pedals being constantly moved aswell, like George is over compensating for something -
tbd - in progress per roadmap When can we expect the sniper pod?
Falconeer replied to Gunfreak's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
Grow up will ya, it's not a game breaking issue -
resolved AG mode not acessible after switching to AA or dogfight mode
Falconeer replied to sluggish's topic in Bugs and Problems
Make sure to put dogfight/ A-A mode switch back to center, before going to different Mastermode It's an override switch and prevents you to switch modes if you have enabled it -
I double checked and its off

Well, the problem is that for me there is no noticable difference in trimmer modes in the special tab. I get the same jerky motion with all the trimmer modes and that wasn't the case before. I know holding down the trimmer button during manouvring, but when i release the trimmer button and release the stick back to neutral, the aircraft still puts in extra motion, causing me needing to trim again. It's like the aircraft is putting in extra trim over my trim, because my stick "was" in that position. And my stick setting is on "neutral stick trimmer", so i should have more time to release my stick back to center, but that is not happening and therefore i have a feeling that both trimmer settings in the special menu act the same and the tracks show it too Happens in BS II and BS III

Noone have these issues?

w.i.p Apache (George Pilot) ability to steady hover is very poor
Falconeer replied to mdee's topic in Bugs and Problems
Here is a track from me with the same issue as above. As soon as i jump into CGP seat, George starts his oscilations in yaw in the hover. When you look at the controls window, you can see the rudder "shoot" in position george issue.trk -
Hello, i recently got in the BS III again and noticed that the controls were quite jerky after trimming. I went to the special tab and noticed it was in "Center Position" trimmer mode. For comparison, i changed it to "Instant Trimmer" and loaded up the same mission. to my feeling, there is no difference between the 2 at the moment. Every time i set the trim and release my stick back to center, the AP still gives an extra input to the controls (especially on roll) making flying difficult and jerky Anyone noticed this aswell? center trim.trk default instant trim.trk

Bump... plz ED, can you take a look into the request made in the first post? Some more axis bindings are very helpful for the Blackshark, as some key bindings are hard to make fine adjustments with, like Shkval brightness and contrast

It's ok, i know you are guys are busy. Carry on

Thanks for the link. To bad Razbam themselfs don't have the time to explain the new features or procedures they implement (as others do). It's very subtile mentioned in the patch notes and really easy to look over DCS: M-2000C by RAZBAM Simulations Added: IFF Transponder.

Since today's implementation, the "masked TGP" is coming into the HUD when you turn away from where the TGP is looking and blocking the view of the pod, however it is also giving the message while in NAV mode with no "point" or "area" track Mask TGP.trk

reported earlier Maverick targeting changes waypoints
Falconeer replied to [31st] Spider's topic in Bugs and Problems
For other sensors like radar and TGP, you can accidentally move your flightplan, when slewing around, therefore you have the CZ button to reset it Maverick should not interfere with the SPI, so this sounds like a bug. -
You're welcome

DCS - F-16 vs A-10 - FLCS Controls using Keyboard and Mouse
Falconeer replied to AngryViper.101's topic in DCS 2.9
No offense, but i really don't understand why people fly flightsims without a joystick. Even a cheap basic usb joystick of a few bucks make a lot of different in controlling the plane. It makes life so much easier -
no bug HUD Activating 'method' on the ramp. cold start
Falconeer replied to Icarus31's topic in Bugs and Problems
See it more as the HUD is your monitor and the MMC is a your motherboard/desktop In your case it's more like turning on your monitor, but not your desktop. Why it does that when shutting down seems like a bug to me -
no bug HUD Activating 'method' on the ramp. cold start
Falconeer replied to Icarus31's topic in Bugs and Problems
To my understanding (i'm not an avionics guy) the HUD is a separate unit, but it's a display, so not a processing unit itself. If you don't turn on the other stuff, there is simply nothing to show. The SYM wheel is like an on/off button and brightness wheel in one
