  2. I feel like without touching controls, the auto pullup is a bit extra. Is it me?
  3. my guess is that up with thumb is up on screen, regardless whether closer or farther from you.
  4. Post your mission. I'll check it out.
  5. I think its also because when you hover you want the ship to move to where you can see not your blind spot. So if you let the controls go it will move forward to where you can see. Whereas if the trim was backward and youre pushing and letting go, it will move back and you have to do two corrections, one is to stop back turn the next is to turn around to see what you would hit.
  6. does that thing land on the Stennis? The KC-130?
  7. thanks Salt
  8. I couldnt agree more. Its like going back to 2011 and buying a faster A-10C. Thanks ED and BST.

  10. 246 guys only? where is the reported 26K people waiting for it?
  11. If this can be coupled to ATC as "Low on fuel, request tanker support", that would be great.
  12. lets say for discussion that youre at 35 meters in a hover and want to descend vertically. You move collective as shown over time and you periodically increase power to maintain a reducing VSI over time. The manner of moving collective is important and really takes practice. You need to observe the position outside, your ground references, and your vertical speed being reducing over time. Once youre in ground effect, start lowering collective more and relax compensation. 5 meters and lower it down even more from previous position. 3 meters even more. then lower it all the way.
  13. Why trim when you can use autopilot attitude hold and altitude hold when near level?
  14. I am surprised devs dont include chocks by ground crew in some hifi modules. Chocks are like alphabets with fixed wings, let alone warbirds.
  15. I dont recommend curves at all... Use trim nose down and hold stick back especially during refueling. Better dive by letting stick go and retry than hit the tankers aft.
  16. AS-365 Panther
  17. on my warty I assign it to L engine fuel switch (top left).
  18. the indicator is above the main panel trim indicators and should light green when its extended.
  19. there is no laser rangefinder with fighters except those multiroles equipped with a Klen-PS rangefinder. The IRST is meant for sneak attack with R-73 or R-27T/ET IR seekers. The range is not much because you have a radar that sees much further out. Basically it was to scan with radar first, then get picture and turn it off, when established with contact you switch IRST for short range tracking without alerting RWR of the enemy. I could be wrong, but its better to hear what Ironhand has to say.
  20. I suppose Mr. Nick would also be good this time.
  21. U turn on arriving at EP to the left at 45 and 350 so the takeoff course should be on your right SE with a right hook to final. I drifted over 5 km according to my IP. I did not even take a look at the kneeboard. As soon as outer NDB was reached, I continued to the river which is SP then hooked right to 265 for the VIP. I need to map the right knob on the watch. I mapped snap view to instruments so I can hold attitude and airspeed just fine. Winds...
  22. This is a great campaign. If you dont know shit about RL things, you will. I am stuck... on two now.
  23. lucky man Bo'cheech! Good to see you alive buddy!
  24. Each module has its own weapons. You can use a pdf editor a cut and paste the relevant weapons into your own manual.
