Wow really? Could you explain this pls?
-
No G damage modeled yet. Pull as much Gs as you like.
-
Yeah all the things you said are basically broken on the current FM. Viper flies like a brick. It sure can go fast and high but it can't turn.

Last update broke the game for me. Now I have stopped playing DCS. Average FPS across all maps is worse than 2.7 release. How sad..... Especially in Syria (not the new Cyprus area, getting 30 fps at Ramat David, was getting above 60 fps before the last update) Game stutters and freezes when flying over busy airport with a lot of players. ED should address this issue. 16 pages of posts Jesus Christ.... Bring the performance back to what we had in 2.5.

not planned or correct for version APKWS laser guided rockets for AH-64D
SCPanda replied to CrashMcGhee's topic in Wish List
Guys, I don't think it's worth to argue about this now. Sorry for starting this topic. The point is ED said "not planned", and there were a 9 pages of argument already. But ED knows people want this weapon system, and they will probably bring an upgraded version of our Apache in the future like they did with A-10 and what they are doing with the Black Shark. Although I'm not a fan of this, but I understand ED is a company and they need to make money. -

Yep same. Like I'd rather get an earlier F-16, A model or C model but block 30 or 40. Oh, btw I found another topic in the wishlist. Sorry for posting a similar topic. https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/268624-apkws/ And ED said no plans for APKWS, so I guess a paid DLC is on the line. -

Also, another guess is that ED is gonna do what they did with A-10C II, bringing an upgraded version of the aircraft with new weapon systems and etc. and make us pay more money for it. -

Is our AH-64D pre-2015 variant then? IDK so I am asking. Also, is our new A-10C post-2015 variant? Cuz A-10C also go APKWS in 2015. Just wondering if ED has mentioned this info. I understand F-16 won't get it, since ED clearly said our F-16 is 2007 variant. -

Why not? A-10 has it. It was also used on Apache IRL. -

As the title says. -
Nah, I flare in all my landings and the touchdowns are very gentle. I am not a Hornet pilot and I hate how Hornet lands so come down hard is something I really despise. I will check the speedbrake behavior again and make a track/bug report if I found it wrong. Thx man.
-
You mean trim the jet for pitch? No, you don't do that in the F-16, it's different from the Hornet. Trim for roll with asymmetrical loadout? Of course.
-
No FM change in the last patch.

Windows 10 is much better. Just switch to Windows 10. After all, 2021 already....
-
Uh.... interesting.....Try firing some missiles or drop some bombs . I have had many missions where I fired some of my weapon and had some left (usually 1 aim-120 or aim-9), I trimmed the roll on the way back to the airport, once I put my gear down, the roll trim is messed up. I had to re-trim the roll so the jet don't automatically bank left or right due to asymmetrical loadout.

The physical switch I use on my throttle is a 3 way switch that automatically centers in the middle (to clarify: not a axis but a 3 way switch). So in the way I set up my controls in DCS, if I hold the switch aft (or what ever position you call it) the speedbrake in the game will extend, but whenever I stop holding it and the switch recenters, the speedbrake will stop extending and hold what ever degree it stopped at (if not fully extended). If I press fwd on my switch the speedbrake in game will close (I don't have to hold it fwd). So I guess my control setup is the same as how it works in real life according to your description?
-
Sorry I don't. But I have seen this behavior in DCS every time I land (well when I look at the replay from the external view of course).

I have also heard great things about VKB, but from the pictures I saw, isn't VKB sticks & throttle more fit to Russian jets? They look quite similar to the real HOTAS Russian jets use in real life. Since the Viper is my go to jet, I will probably stick to my Warthog stick and get the FSSB base when I have the $. Regarding the throttle, Winwing is probably the only manufacture that is making the Viper throttle replica. I know there was Cougar HOTAS but they are too old and you can only buy used one now. Honestly, I wonder why Thrustmaster hasn't released a high-end throttle after Warthog. Warthog stick is great but the throttle is not really something I would like. The major problem with it is the lack of radar altimeter knob, since it's a A-10 throttle. Would be nice if Thrustmaster makes a Viper or Hornet throttle replica in the future.
-
+1 IDK why, datalink bug has been around for quite a long time. Sometimes it appears and disappears. In some sever it works totally fine, in some sever it does not.
-
BTW guys, Winwing is releasing the Viper throttle this year.
