Здравствуйте AlexsandrT,

Does this vibration or shaking effect option is already in use in Mi-8?

Because, I use DCS 1.5.6 version and I could not find the "Cockpit Camera Shake" option inside the SPECIAL tab.

See my DCS 1.5.6 release screen capture that I made.

will be after the upgrade.

I don't approve of hijacking a thread and intend no disrespect whatsoever, but for the sake of all of us who cherish the Huey I'm compelled to use this opportunity to ask the Devs why can't the Huey get this kind of Love ?_

usually we try to implement the features, which done for the Mi-8 also for UH-1H))

We will implement (bit later) "Cockipt Camera Shake" features for UH-1:)

as long as this "feature" can be set to ZERO , as in completly realy off...

'controlling' the Ka50 feels like a discussion with the Autopilot and trim system about the flight direction.

Flew about shaking on all flight runs today.

I can recommend setup - "turbulence".

Is established in weather. Maximum setup 60.

I use golden mean - "Turbulence 30". It was the most comfortable.

I did not use earlier, and today have tested it with different settings. The excellent combination together with shaking has turned out.

Vibrations are stronger, it is less, cabin and feeling of flight has recovered.

The pleasure has come from flights.

The turbulence setting is great, but the increment should be larger.

0.1m/s is too small. Should be +/- 0.5m/s per click, otherwise takes too long to get the proper gusts.

News No 34.

Glorious crew of MI-8MTV2, took another step forward in their professional development!

Introduced a new function - voice-over of helicopter crew reading the checklists.

Checklist servs as additional control option of most important operations which determine the helicopter and crew readiness for the next stage of flight.

Control using the control checklist is a compulsory complex of operations carried out by order of commander specified stages of flight.

After the command "Read Checklist" is given, each crew member perform commands according to checklist and reports performs on completion.

There will be 6 new commands in settings menu:

LShift + Num1

LShift + Num2 .. + Num6

the number on the numeric keypad stands for corresponding checklist card number.

Procedures according to checklist card after pressing the corresponding button will go continuously.

In case all checklist card requirements are met then there will be no delay and next card item will be processed.

If condition is not met, card item is being read, then if within 5 seconds condition is met - there will be an answer.

In other case after 5 seconds have passed all checklist reading procedure stops.

Note for the real pilots. There are few checklists in army aviation and a lot of in civil. We made an intermediate version of the checklists, suitable for flight conditions in DCS. Checklists are especially prepared for the MI-8 on MTV2 DCS by BELSIMTEK.

Большое спасибо!

Another fantastic addition!

That will help a lot both while learning the Mi-8 and just going through the startup.

(and I'd suggest using VoiceAttack or similar voice recognition software for those new commands)
