TLDR: There’s an ALPHA MP Kiowa Campaign available to check out. This post will link all 8 missions at the bottom of the post Overview My buddies and I really enjoy flying together and experiencing story driven content. We’ve been fortunate to find some likeminded content creators over the years and thoroughly enjoyed our experiences playing MP campaigns like Griffins Original and Remastered - Hormuz - I only wish there was more content like this – created for MP, but also consumable by SP. This is our contribution to the community in this regard. As some of you may know, I am responsible for the Griffins Remastered. Now that the Kiowa is out, my small group embarked on a Kiowa MP/SP campaign in the spirit of the Griffins Remastered called Operation Silent Thunder. See attached PDF for the first mission brief. We are making this for our group but also wanted to share with the community. As the group’s resident ME “expert”, I am currently 4 missions into this campaign. We have storyboards for 8 missions so far. Instead of waiting for all 8 to be written, tested, produced and polished the team thought we should release as we went along. This way interested parties could get their hands on content sooner and provide feedback to us along the way. I consider this content to be pre-release content so you may encounter a bug here or there. You may see a debug statement flash on screen, but all voiceovers are there and the mission has been flown by my group at least once. In other words, you’re an early adopter. Given the Kiowa is still relatively new, I hope this campaign can be enjoyed by more people who are just getting into this helo. Looking forward to people’s comments and feedback. Big shout out to the fellas for content, testing, and willingness to get shot down [ @Devil 505 @Wulf103 ]! Campaign Features 1-4 Aircraft OH-58D COOP/Mulit-Crew up to 8 total Players Module(s) Required: Polychop OH-58D Kiowa, Syria Map Mod(s) Required: Noted in mission download if any leveraged Additional topics: Fully voiced missions using AI (elevinlabs), mission brief PDFs, scaled difficulty based on number of Helo’s in mission. This is a fictional based campaign set during the 2006 July War historical timeframe on the Syria map and is designed for COOP play. The campaign can be done solo if you desire. [Designer's Notes] 1. Hawk 1-1 (Player 1, Tail # 211), is the mission commander for every mission, and must be selected to trigger designed events. 2. Cold start time is limited for some missions, it's highly recommended that the server remains paused until all players are seated and ready. 3. Please keep the original weapon loadout as some mission triggers will only be activated by a specified weapon type. 4. Please read the briefing material carefully in each mission pack. Please follow the flight waypoints, otherwise, some events might not be triggered. 5. It requires at least 4 players to complete most of the missions. But it's recommended to play with 4 or more players. Hawk 1 Flight is usually designed for primary objective, Hawk 2 Flight is for secondary objective, whilst an hot-on-ramp Hawk 3 flight with AA loadout doesn't carry any specific tasks but just in case more than 8 players want to play the game, feel free to change loadout and goals for Hawk 3. 6. For CAS missions, the in-game JTAC will ask you to depart after current group of targets are destroyed, but you could re-contact the same JTAC for the next assignment untill all groups of targets are destroyed. 7. All Air Force missions support maximum of 20 players, current simplified F-15C (FC3 module) will be replaced with full-simulated F-15C once it's released from ED. Although these missions don't have voiceovers, it would be more immersive if one player join as the Air Operation Controller to coordinate different flights/packages with different aircraft, especially when more than 2 flights (8 players) are in the game. It has detailed mission briefing in pdf inside the download package. Operation Hormuz Mission 01 (digitalcombatsimulator.com) I planned to make a series of mission as a whole campaign, it doesn't have much thrilling plots or challenging tasks, but mainly focuse on following briefing instructions, fly tactical formation and basic weapon handling in an "as-real-as-possible" battlefield environment for multiplayer COOP. Hope you enjoy it. Welcome for comments, and please give feedbacks if there's any bugs, thanks.

Hello Everyone! This is my first mission submission to the DCS community. My goal was to create a Co-Op multiplayer mission that is challenging but more importantly, a mission that provides some kick-ass fun and also utilize my professional skills as an IT professional in the movie industry. Creating a scenario with a full sense of immersion was one of my goals, and hopefully, it hits the mark?! My brother-in-law and I had a BLAST completing the mission along with two failed attempts. It only makes sense to share this with the community that has helped fulfill my flight dreams and excitement for blowing sh*t up! ********************* Mission Details ********************* Operation: All Enemy Lives Matter v.1 Mission Trailer: It's an early December morning when sirens go off at Mineralnye Vody HQ. Russian forces are scaling an attack on the HQ. Supporting ground troops are engaged and in need of CAS. Mineralnye Vody is on high alert and deploying troops. Suit up and get airborne ASAP! Your task is to provide CAS and standby for the next orders as the attack unfolds. This is a CAS mission where orders drop based on completing the mission objectives. Protecting the base is critical. Multiplayer Co-op (2-4) * Designed for 2 players; includes support for up to 6 players Requirements: A-10C II or F/A-18C Playable Slots 3) A-10C II 3 ) F/A-18C ----- Map: Caucasus Time to Complete Mission: Give yourselves 3-4 hours * Depending on skill level IMPORTANT NOTES: If you wish to change the primary aircraft, Update the Group "Minner A10" Updating this group will keep all mission trigger functional. ** Mission triggers require departing from: Mineralnye Vody HQ ** Built and tested with the latest DCS Beta version: 2.7.6.13436 ******************************************************************** Known bugs: There is a moving train that may not appear on the F10 map. The train DOES appear in the game; proceed with objectives. Download it, share it, leave feedback, etc. Most importantly have fun. Have a fantastic flight & go get some! TAW JTF-88 is looking for more recruits for our squadrons. Hello everyone, The JTF-88 community consists of VMA-231 flying the AV8B Harrier, VMFA-212 Lancers flying the FA-18, RNLAF 313 flying the F-16, VF-103 Jolly Rodgers flying the F-14 and HUNAF 86th flying the MI-24 Hind (86th switching to AH-64d when released) and we regularly operate in joint exercises and missions, all of which are designed in house by our dedicated mission design team and hosted on our dedicated servers. The JTF-88 battalion is aiming to be the more realistic and immersive virtual experience in the TAW DCS group while still having a good time making friends along the way. We try to follow real life procedures as closely as possible in DCS World. We use realistic radio coms and procedures around our carrier, airfield and in the area of operations while having a good time with our virtual flying friends! We have a military structure with ranks according to the US forces. This is so certain people have tasks and responsibilities to ensure we all get events properly arranged and the content produced is engaging and fun. This type of flight simming is not for everyone as it requires a certain mindset, dedication and motivation to do it right and seek out the knowledge required for the environment and missions we have made for ourselves. Our missions can be at times long, requiring in depth mission planning and preparation with regards to operating limits of air frames and procedures. As a recruit you are not required to take part in our mandatory missions but you are required to go through your squadrons training curriculum to work towards a full membership and mission readiness. As part of the application process you will be approached by your squad lead and he will do an assessment of you and your proficiency/abilities to see if you are suitable for joining the JTF-88 squadron you are applying for. Although it might seem like we keep a very high standard we still want people to apply as we have an comprehensive training regime and in my eyes this where the JTF-88 really shines. So don't hesitate, make contact and we will get you sorted out. Our basic requirements: Owning the Syria and PG map modules. The module of the squadron you apply for. Owning trackir based solution or using VR. Being able to perform a2a refueling. At minimum, have a basic understanding and profeciency in the module you intend to fly. Although the different squadrons have different requirements as far as mission readiness goes and have different requirements for their selection processes. We have a mature user base so we require you to be over 16. Being able to attend events Thursdays 1930z (training event) + Sundays 1845z (Mandatory event) If this sounds like something for you visit us on the links below: For more information about the JTF-88 see this link: JTF-88 Hardcore Battalion – The Art of Warfare (tawdcs.org) Our Discord is https://discord.gg/tawdcs message me @Napoleon and i will put you in contact with the right people and start your journey with the JTF-88.

Is there any news about developing multicrew for the Mi-8 now that the Huey and Hind have finally figured it out? I understand they are working hard on the Mi-24 and AH-64, and I appreciate this but one of my favorite modules in this game is the Mi-8 and it is one of the helicopters that would really benefit from having a copilot. I hope you can get back to us on your progress or plans for the future regarding Mi-8 multicrew.

reported earlier Can not get out of COOP mode for rockets
SsgtHolland posted a topic in Bugs and Problems
After WASing up rockets in CP/g seat, when switching to pilot seat and WASing rockets, it is not possible to get out of coop mode for rockets. This happened with only rockets remaining as ammunition. After deslaving CP/G George, the pilot has no command over rocket steering cue and coop remains in HDU. -

=Death From Above= GrayFlag Syria By Graywo1f and Grimes Welcome to Grayflag Syria, brought to you from the minds of Graywo1f (voice of JesterAI) and Grimes (core-engine-development-via-DCS-Scripting, god and curator of SLmod and MIST). Grayflag Syria is a hardcore persistent multiplayer Coop campaign set in 2005. Team up with other BLUEFOR players to liberate Lebanon from Militant and Syrian Army Occupation and conduct various airstrikes inside Syrian territory against strategic targets and a fully realistic SAM network with enemy CAP, sometimes player controlled. Experience a moving front line as BLUEFOR will have a total of 51 objectives to capture inside Lebanon. The enemy forces will attempt to resupply and reinforce their positions and even launch counter offensives, as players attempt to push the front line farther North from the coast to the Bekaa valley. As you and your teammates set up BLUEFOR ground units to invade/capture objectives or defend with CTLD troops/vehicles, you won't have to worry about them disappearing after a server restart or crash! Their position will be saved when the server restarts and you log back into this persistent battlefield. Grayflag is a player driven campaign in an open ended sandbox. You and your friends will fight how you want to fight to complete the objectives while utilizing your own tactics and mission planning to strike targets across the entire map. The enemy will do its best to react to the changing battlefield as you and your friends complete taskings/objectives. This mission features the Combined Arms module by allowing the player to bring whatever they want to the fight. Have a few player helicopters bring you a mortar squad next to an objective? Want a friendly SAM network set up to cover an area? Go for it, and it will all save in the mission state. For more info on how to play and DCS Server info Discord - discord.gg/deathfromabove How to play google doc - https://docs.google.com/document/d/14jNUFLPIWb41ctWJa_SiH6-FkWhgwuCBTrTVTlN_Xpo/edit?usp=sharing Grayflag is currently in Open Beta! TLDR: With @Dagobert666 permission, I reimagined his original Griffins Apache MP Campaign. This post will link all 10 missions at the bottom of the post. Overview Back in May of 2022, Dagobert666 released an epic multiplayer Apache campaign. As a MP Apache pilot, If you haven’t consumed it, here’s a new chance. Once my squadron completed it, we couldn’t stop talking about some of the individual missions. Several were etched into our brains and remain some of the best DCS experiences to date (we’ve all played DCS since the Flanker days). As our resident “mission guy”, I set out to "reimagine" Dagobert666’s work. I immediately contacted him to ask his permission to do this and to his credit, Dagobert666 was “all in” on me moving this forward. That was more than a year ago at this point and what started out as a simple voiceover replacement effort took over a large portion of my DCS mind and consumed much more time than I ever expected. I hope you find the efforts satisfying. So what’s different now you ask? For the most part, the mission themes remain as they were. I, however, fully voiced the entire campaign with AI. I wrote a completely new story that wraps each mission into a greater narrative. Many of the missions have different voiceovers depending on outcomes. I personally spoke/recorded every line of dialog for this campaign, although you never hear my voice. Using AI technology from elevinlabs, I morphed my voice into the different actors you’ll hear throughout the 10 missions. A handful of missions were re-written entirely or refactored a bit to add replayability or some randomness. BUT admittedly, Dagobert666’s original work already had plenty of that built in. For the mission makers out there, I mostly rewrote all the triggers in the ME. You’ll see I tried to document the sections of the mission with comment blocks as well as turned all the original flags from numeric into text variables. While time consuming, it forced me to really understand what Dagobert’s original intent was and made sure I wasn’t missing key mission mechanics. It also makes it easier for me to debug/maintain. The ten missions are done and have been flown by multiple MP groups – to include Dagobert666’s crew. There’s some housekeeping that I feel compelled to complete like briefings and map images. As the final coats of paint dry on these missions, I will post them to the ED files section of the site and update this post. Hope you all enjoy. Once again, thank you, Dagobert666 for making this possible. Also, I want to recognize Dagobert666's crew for playtesting this. I don't know their names, but they were all instrumental in bringing this to life. Also, my flight team of @Wulf103 and @Devil 505 for their countless replays of these missions over the past year. And also to anyone who downloads and gives this a go - thank you. PSA Dagobert666's original campaign contained colorful voiceover language. In that same spirit, I continued the NSFW language in the remastered campaign. Consider this a heads-up to those who might be offended by adult language; the entire 10 mission campaign is littered with four-letter foulness. Hi everyone. I've noticed a lack of cooperative content with an emphasis on narrative and authenticity, so I thought it would be interesting to try to create something like that. Introducing Phoenix Rising. A 4 player cooperative campaign for the F/A-Hornet set on the Persian Gulf map. As of now, only the first mission has been published. It features 50+ lines of dialogue from 5 different voice actors, as well as a extensive briefing and kneeboard with lots of info that you should read before even loading the mission. There's even an optional skin pack with lots of new liveries designed exclusively for this campaign. The full campaign will include 5 missions and it's currently in development. Stay tuned for updates on that! This is my first big DCS project and I hope you enjoy it playing it with your friends! All feedback is welcome. First campaign mission: Mission 1 "Amaterasu" Skin pack: Phoenix Rising Skin Pack

...or "How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love Saving Fuel", this is the first mission I'm actually reasonably happy with publishing beyond just a group of friends. This is a very long range (450-500+ NM each way) strike, with 4 different objectives happening within a single mission. Here's a quickfire list of the key features in the mission: A very long-range mission from the Falkland Islands to mainland South America 4 different objective styles in a single mission (CAP, Anti-Runway, Anti-Ship, SEAD)! Most modern/late cold-war era jets available to fly A CVN and LHA offshore the Falklands for a true challenge! Completable solo - but better with friends! Spawnable friendly AI to assist in singleplayer/low playercount MP! Mixed afternoon/night conditions with moderate clouds Semi-randomized air threats (higher-threat fighters should spawn more rarely) There's a detailed briefing and custom kneeboards in place to help you figure out what to do/what to blow up. It's overall a relatively simple mission with not much fancy stuff going on under-the-hood, I'm not a professional mission builder. Everything is set up through the in-game mission editor with no external scripts. There's also not too much 'set dressing' as far as extra AI/static units goes(for most of the transit you'll be up above the clouds anyway!), so it's hopefully relatively lightweight to run. I had no issues framerate-wise flying this mission in VR, if that's any indication. There's a few things I'd like to do in the future to really polish it out, like adding some limited voiceovers (mainly for the AI so the player has more understanding on what's happening in the theater), better threat scaling (to support larger MP operations), and just some general polish here and there. For now though, I'm happy enough to consider it a "1.0" release, as everything should work.
