During the F16 ECM mission i get to a point where I launch the AGM88 at the SA8 then continue forward waiting for the other SAM to lock onto me so I can pop chaff. The moment the RWR detects a lock, the game crashes. I've tried it probably 5 times. I cant post a track because of the CTD but i attached the log. I did a slow repair and deleted all mods and additional files so I could run a clean DCS. Didn't work. dcs.log dcs.log.old

I live in the editor and doing script, more then flying now a day working on the missions I work on, Daily, there is at least for me 5-6 crashes and if I need to test more, I would have more. It's random, often happen when I quit the mission and go back to the editor, it would take me there automatically. That is the idea anyway. This happened after the last patch, not the hotfix but the one before it. After the mid-March (17 Mar), I started to experience a CTD moments before DCS would load into a mission. This affects single player and multiplayer missions. See the attached DCS crash log. This occurs when using my VPN service; which rhymes with BoardVPN. When VPN is ON, the game would crash during the "Export Start" phase of the loading screen (Single Player or Multiplayer). Part of the problem rests with a script in my Export.lua file. Specifically, the game crashes to desktop when the Export.lua file tries to run the script: "dofile(wwtlfs.writedir()..'Scripts/wwt/wwtExport.lua')". That script is for my WinWing/SimAppPro HOTAS setup. When I remark out that line, DCS does not crash, even when the VPN is on. Other observations: 1. DCS-SRS and DCS-TheWay applications will not work when the VPN service is on. This is true even when the SimAppPro script is disabled. When the VPN is off, then SRS and TheWay applications work as advertised. 2. The VPN software had an update and the same with Windows 11 during this time. All my video and audio drivers are current too. 3. I contacted both VPN provider and WinWing to troubleshoot this problem. 4. DCS would encounter CTD even before the Mar 19 and Mar 26 updates (DCS 2.9.14.8222 and DCS 2.9.14.8394, respectively). 5. Before 17 March, DCS would run normally when my VPN was on or off. I have 2 workarounds but I would like to find the cause and potentially fix this problem so I may continue to use my VPN service. 1. Remark out the WinWing code in the Export.lua file. 2. Turn off the VPN while playing DCS. Has anyone else experienced this issue? dcs.log-20250401-010302.zip

So i recently wiped my ssd, and reinstalled windows for the launch of msfs24, but after that DCS lost all my bindings, so i thought why not do a fresh install of DCS too. But never got round to rebinding my controls till the new patch, as i wanted to fly Arctic thunder, and try the F5. So yesterday, i try the F5, Instant Action, takeoff from Afghanistan, an my rudders were reversed and i went off and hit another plane, but on impact game crashed. Restart, try again, halfway down runway, game crashes to desktop, with no error, again. Then i move onto Arctic thunder by BD, which ive been having an issue with, outlined here:- But as mentioned in the thread, if i restart the mission, it works, but as i was taxiing to rw, i just got another crash to desktop, no message. So now i have no idea what is happening. Ive attached logs (from save games, let me know if theyre not the right ones). Systems full vanilla, no mods cef_log.log dcs.log dcs.log.old

Each time I open up Normandy (mission, instant action or click fly in Editor) it crashes to desktop after being stuck on "loadTerrain". Crash reports attached, tried with both TacView and SRS installed and uninstalled. Hi All, This is a problem I have with my 'backup' PC - main PC is running DCS like a charm. In my backup I had a very old version of DCS (I think 1.5) which I had kind of abandoned and last week I decided to re-visit by updating to 2.7. I have been using all kinds of tweaks for the settings I have found online, it is not the most powerful system but it still has a GTX1070 and strong RAM. No matter what I do with the settings, no matter what, still a few minutes in and I get a CTD, every time, all the time I am attaching here the latest crash log as it has been compiled in the system, if anyone has any insight I would be most thankful! dcs.log-20211120-102210.zip

Dear Eagle Dynamics, Over at 4YA we've been getting a few reports of players logging onto our servers and either imidiately or almost imidiately. so far we managed to gather 3 logs all with similar errors (around) the later part in the logs regarding an ERROR wich looks something like this, 2021-10-11 13:08:50.964 ERROR SOUND: invalid host_params(woLA-17508865): velocity i'll also attach the three logs we could find with similar finds in the logs while either testing or handling player reports on our servers. As the thread title suggests - using Jester to tune TAC for the radio causes a CTD. I've had this happen quite frequently. Only occurs when I tune TAC the radio frequency. Others have reported this a long time ago too. See linked threads at the bottom. When this crash occurs DCS maxes the memory usage. I have 32GB of RAM with a 110GB pagefile. DCS had maxed both of them before taking Windows down with it! I had to take a picture with my phone because there wasn't enough memory to take a print screen! Log file attached. dcs.log

Choosing the aircraft jf-17 in "role select", then try spawn is cause CTD every singel time. Not once since my jf17 have work. Updates and reinstall\repair not fix this issue, change graphic setting to various different settings not fix. I am using an Alienware M15 R7 with Radeon 6900HX and RTX 3080Ti, upon playing DCS, the game constantly crashes to desktop after 5 or 10 minutes. I have tried rebooting the OS, using DDU and clean installing graphic drivers, clean and repair DCS files, using Nvidia debug mode, redownloading DCS World, undervolting both processor and graphics card but to no avail. I have also allocated page file up to 64Gb. Simplest possible mission (~1 second length). Single P-51 start-from-runway ("client") on Cacausus map. All mission defaults taken. Clean 2.7 install. -Start mission (directly or via Mission Editor, same result) -Spawn -ESC -> Quit -Fly again -> CTD crash to desktop Very repeatable, happened ~10 times, never not happened. Replacing P-51 with Spitfire or Bf 109, no CTD. Include mission file and crash log generated by DCS. Open Beta "2.7.0.5118". Hi. I cannot open DCS in VR after latest update. 2D mode works, but when I try to open it in VR the sim crashes to desktop (WMR cliff house). Everything worked well before the update. I don't have any mods etc. installed.

I was in a squadron mission yesterday and wanted to get screenshots but every single time I run this mission, I immediately get a crash and a log that says 'module-name-not-available.' I've tried deleting my mods, apart from the ones necessary to run the track itself being the herc, blackhawk, samsite, and 476th range targets. I've also tried running on single thread and multithread, with and without admin, and deleting the way from export.lua in scripts. I have no idea what the issue is and it's been happening with a lot of replays recently since the last major update in december. (the username from saved games has been replaced with oboe because i dont want to dox myself). When i have the sight select as HMD and put the NVS switch to either norm or fixed as the CPG SOMETIMES the game will just CTD, i have attached my log file when it happens dcs.log

Hello! DCS is crashing when I trie to load into Multiplayer on a server where a friend of mine is the privat server. Singleplayer missions work normal (I created testmission myself in ME). But also Singleplayer missions made by Squeaky are crashing - this one for example: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3332912/ I tried removing mods (only used DCS-DTC and SRS) and a Repair without success. I recently upgraded my CPU and my mainbord and switched from Win10 to 11. After doing so I constantly experience crashes while flying the F-15E. And at the moment with no other Aircrafts. These crashes accur randomly, not linked to any event and on any map but mostly after 3-15 min flying. I will attach some crashlogs. Hopefully someone has an idea on how to fix this. Really miss flying the Eagle. dcs.log-20231204-171212.zip edit: I saw a post about a similar problem that had to do with the CPU overheating. I checked the temperatures while flying and it stayed below 70. So this should not be the problem.

Hi all, Started getting random CTD. It can happen when loading into a server or it can happen randomly while I am in a cruise, no real pattern. I've not had CTD for years and my system hasn't changed. Files have been verified. Hi, I do have a strange behavior with the Kiowa. If I start the game and try to load a Kiowa mission the game does CTD. Sometimes after 1 min, sometimes direct during the loading screen. The game does freeze for a few seconds and then I am back at the desktop. There is no crash report generated. In case I start with a Apache mission, get out of this mission and then load the Kiowa it does work just fine. I have no idea how to fix this. It is somehow a workaround but a bit distracting to start the heli this way. Any suggestion what I could try to fix this? BR Sylvester -
Inputting a large font size (e.g. 500) into the text drawings will crash the game completely.

When working in ME, after around 15 mins, get the DCS crash notification and am able to send crash report with dxdiag info most times. When try enter MP server, crashes pretty much instantly or while loading scenery, hard CTD. Included 2 back2back crash log archives. Hello, After only a minute or 2 of flying, the latest version of Open Beta (latest version as of today, 8/16/23) crashes to desktop. I've run the 'slow' file repair a couple of times, scf scannow (no issues), updated my 3090 to the latest driver but the problem persists. Attached is the last log created. If anyone has some suggestions on how I might resolve the issue, I look forward to hearing from you. DCS has been unusable for many months due to this problem.Thank you! dcs.log
