Jumbik Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Nothing really, I think the manual will be different slightly as it will only be for the Su-27, but nothing really... Hmm that's kinda sad from a marketing point of view. I guess that most active players already have FC3 so there will be only small portion of "new" customers this way. If there would be some kind of added value to the module over the FC3 version, then a lot of people would be glad to buy it anyway. Do, or do not, there is no try. -------------------------------------------------------- Sapphire Nitro+ Rx Vega 64, i7 4790K ... etc. etc.

I bought the F-15C to gift not too long ago, I will do the same with the Flanker as well... Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
Jumbik Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Ok, good point. Gifts did not come to my mind in this case. Good way how to hook up a new pilot. :) Do, or do not, there is no try. -------------------------------------------------------- Sapphire Nitro+ Rx Vega 64, i7 4790K ... etc. etc.

Godzila Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I was so happy about it I also bought it. I will probably gift it to someone who will go: "Meeh, boring, back to BF4" or something.

Meeh, boring, back to BF4. :music_whistling: Obviously I'm kidding. :pilotfly: If you want to talk to anyone about anything personal, send it to their PM box. Weta43 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Aren't they just the statics that have been there since the begining of time ??? Maybe you just noticed them because of the particular light occuring under those weather conditions ? Cheers.
greco.bernardi Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 you should be right....i´m only curious because one of them seems like in taxing action.

upupandaway Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 (edited) How about the new clouds in the screenshot??? I have never seen them like this in EDGE screenshots before. They look a little like the clouds in another flight sim, but that´s by no means a bad thing... Edited October 14, 2014 by upupandaway [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Deedle, deedle!
upupandaway Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Work in progress on the clouds (I think that's not their final look)... that could mean that other more pressing task are completed/near completition? :D Thought the same. They already do look great. Raindrops on the canopy next? :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Deedle, deedle!
112th_Rossi Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Thought the same. They already do look great. Raindrops on the canopy next? :D Raindrops as you fly through clouds would be awesome.
Archer7 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Raindrops as you fly through clouds would be awesome. Agreed.
Godzila Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I would be very happy if ED made viewports for gauges and panels. Is that a lot of work or is just something FC3 planes will never get?
Suchacz Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 (edited) Raindrops as you fly through clouds would be awesome. I flew FSX L-39 by Lotus sims for some time, and dynamic rain, fogging and icing canopy effects I saw there were great. It was very immersive, especially with 3D. I wish I can see it in DCS one day... 4:00 - rain and icing Edited October 14, 2014 by Suchacz Per aspera ad astra! Crucial reading about DCS: Black Shark - Black Shark and Coaxial Rotor Aerodynamics, Black Shark and the Trimmer, Black Shark – Autopilot: Part 1, Black Shark – Autopilot: Part 2
Weta43 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 You get dynamic clouds / rain / snow / fog now if you use dynamic weather rather than standard. No rain on the canopy though :) Cheers.
