Heck, I'd be glad to pick up mode modules to support ED, but the development of new content is just such a long, drawn out time period... :) From my ignorant, no developer point of view, there needs to be more stuff, sooner. Not PaidDLC Either way Im pretty sure none of those Art assets are being used in EDGE.. and development of EDGE and the Rebuild of the map is what delayed NTTR release. That goes for any feature listed, not specifically trees or anything. Tree collisions may very well be in the initial release... but nothing has been stated for sure yet. It isn't being ignored, but when looking at actual pilot reports, it becomes obvious that this is much more about people's unrealistic spotting performance expectations. Knowing ED they will try to match real life spotting performance as closely as possible, within the limits imposed by available technology. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! I am curious about if the shadow effect will be more clear and if it will be applied on cockpit in Dcs World 2? this effect is more noticeable on ai aircrafts during formation flight.

The only folks who "have any idea about it" are devs (who share info only by rare, official newsletters/updates) and testers (who cannot write about it because of NDA). The rest is our speculations. I have noticed flying under the clouds (coumulus one) that was getting a bit darker than under pure sun. But flying with such a speed, don't expect seeing sharp edge of a cloud on your instruments panel ;) Or if the panel was like 100m2 you would be able to see that efect ;) Lets hope they will improve that in EDGE.
