A very successful trip to RAF Coningsby.

Running through more of the MHDD functionality on Typhoon and other systems like lighting, fuel, hydraulics, engines, etc.

We also had great discussions on what systems we can/can't add into the public version.

We also got to climb up on the jet to get to those hard to reach areas for reference photos.

I never thought I could ever say that I have straddled a Typhoon's tail until yesterday lol

As I'm sure you can appreciate, that photo is staying firmly in my personal collection...for security reasons of course ;)

Now on to the fun (hard) part planning and mapping out all the systems functionality and MHDD page integration so our dev team can get started on her.

We are also going to 3D model her from scratch again as the existing model we have is not up to par for DCS 2.0 so we will build her up to match the high expectations of DCS and integration of EFM and ASM systems.

Many thanks to 3 Sqn for your hospitality again and we look forward to seeing you guys again soon.

Chris

Not just the cockpit but external model too.

Once we've mapped out what we can do it'll be easier to say what we can / can't.

Suffice to say things like DASS and MIDS actual functionality won't be but we'll "simulate" them rather than "emulate" them.

More to come on all that later :)

So if I understand correctly, last year you started working on Typhoon's external model from scratch after you shelved the last one, and now you're starting on the 3d model from beginning yet again?

Anyways, thanks for the update.

I would like to know what systems Veao can/can't add :music_whistling: :smilewink:

You'll never get an exhaustive list from us, We are not allowed to provide it

When there is more info on a release date we will confirm it but for the time being I am going to refrain from giving an Eta :)

It's a good step Pman. Anyway, please update topics from time to time and give some information, even if it'll be a few words. :D

I see these possibilites in DCS with this plane. Escorts, Interceptions, Ground Attacks, etc. Don't hurry up to release it. I think it's better to have more time to make this project more polished. I just hope you won't stop this project like RAZBAM with F-15E.

So looking forward to this. A DCS-level Typhoon/Eurofighter is the only western jet that curbs my enthusiasm for ever getting an F-16 in DCS. :)

Please keep some diary going for us to enjoy, with plenty of screenshots and what else you want to share. :)

I stop you , F-15E isnt not stopped they still work on it.

As stated by a dev on facebook ,they focus on mirage-2000 and then they focus on F-15E. :smilewink:

Wow I have to say this was an unexpected treat :). Fantastic to know that you're being given such access to the Typhoon. Needless to say I look forward to future updates!
