Real cool stuff.
One first question:
After looking at the screenshots i see that in the presets "VR Headset" is present. Does that mean that the preset switches to this profile when VR has been used like in the old app?
I found that always a bit confusing because i use 2 VR presets and after using one of then it defaulted always back to VR Headset.

No, The Automatic switching was removed.

The Mods Manager Page is still WIP, it has basic functionality and will continue to be developed.

There are so many good stuff in this new version but the most improved one seems to be the presets setting!! (if I understand the picture correctly)

App has been in testing for a bit now, 
But I still have a bit of cleaning up to do, as well as work out deployment options.
Initially I said Q1 was the goal, that Goal was set before I incurred a hand injury that limited productivity for the good part of 6 weeks.

Some Testers may post preview content before then.

Quick Question -Will this work with the  MT executable? Will we simply be able to configure a build for MT?

I have been using the Updater since I started using DCS and love it. Eager for the update! I am a very basic user, launch DCS in VR or no VR; clean and/or repair; and updating. I have never used Presets and am curious how and for what they are used. I mostly play SP but plan to get in to MP soon. I use just 1 settings (graphics, sound, VR, etc) for every DCS session and just wondering what presets would do for me. Thanks!

In DCS you have 3 different presets you can set and select with each his own settings. Drawback is that the latest used preset is loaded again next time whhen you run DCS. When you change to a new preset where one of the settings requires a restart, DCS will restart first to load that setting (like certain texture settings, VSync etc...). I will default to the latest used preset when you load DCS the next time. With the updater you can select a different preset before DCS runs. It will load that one instead of the previous used setup without the need to go through a restart (if needed).

I use a high to ultra preset setting for single play, a medium one for online play and another one for VR.

Sorry for being stupid but how do I go about setting up a preset in the updater?

In the current one: This is what i do and what works, maybe there are other possibiliy's:
Open updater / start DCS / set desired settings / close DCS / select App Settings tab in updater / under Custom Preset Names enter your preset name / press apply / repeat for next preset.

Warning: Since 2.8 (i guess) there is a little problem when running the updater for the first time after the program has been closed, it will load default values for DCS (viewable in the last line of the log). On the second start of DCS when u select a preset it will load the correct one.
To shortcut this behavior i open Task Manager, run updater, start DCS, it will load default values, the moment DCS shows up in Task Manager i kill the process, then restart again through the updater with the correct preset.

is DCS GUI Launcher not compatible with Win11?

Regardless what i click in this tool, i am ending in an error message!?

Game path and saved path is correct set and also DCS would start if i start it direct but DCS GUI is not able to!?

I also delete files in here:  

/<Username>/Appdata/Local/Skate_Zilla_Simulations/

Defined DCS and Game Save folder again. But no success.

I guess this tool is not working in Win11
