AFAIK there's no any official confirmation of an F-16 to DCS. That would be the most interesting thing for DCS really is an early model F-16, not a silly block 50/52 UFO rammed full of heavy electronics and nonsense to turn it into a light bomber but a block 15 F-16A, something with enough toys to make it interesting to learn and fly but basic enough that it's not just an equivalent of the F-18

Granted, F-16 would be a lot better in the ground attack role with ccrp and better range, but I would love later model F-16's to be added to DCS along with F-18. Imagine DCS with a dynamic campaign like BMS and a f-16/F-18. It could have all the great things of BMS but with better engine/graphics and other aircraft fully modeled.
