Nope, I believe the latest version will be the desktop shortcut.

Ive recently started to delete them so I don’t have loads of different versions installed, but it makes no difference if you don’t as far as I can tell.

Just make sure you are using the right shortcut. 🙂

Thanks Andre... I had the stutter with 2.9 as well, but tried it again.  Still stuttering.  Its very apparent.  As soon as SSA begins creating feedback signals I get almost unplayable amounts of stutter.  The moment I terminate SSA the game goes back to super smooth.  I am running Open XR and everything is up to date.  I've tried uninstalling all other 3rd party programs and it makes no difference.  I'm not convinced it is an SSA problem, but rather something with how it is interacting with my computer.  I don't know what to do.

What are your system specs? Do you use another plugin which uses telemetry data from DCS? Did you check the frame rate limiter in SSA?

In my experience it's best to uninstall and manually delete the remaining files if you switch from beta to stable, or the other way around: I've had issues with that in the past.
If you're just updating from beta to beta, or from stable to stable, there is no need to do that.

Greetings.  Just finally installed Sim shaker for aviators and setup the seat.  I see past threads and posts about the actual EJECTION does not trigger any output,  Has anyone figured out a work around or a way to get the transducers to shake for an actual Punch out ? Maybe somehow tie the weapon release type of code to the input of the control input to trigger the ejection ?

Thanks again for all your help

Specifically using the viper.

I received a HF8  a few days ago, and got it working with SimShaker for Aviators through the USB.  You have to set the USB to ForceFeel. Apparently, the HF8 is an improved/redesigned version of that seat. At least I can enjoy it while I wait for NLR to come up with the DCS supported software.

Second that! HF8 works perfectly fine in DCS! Next Level Racing HF8 seems to be a remake of Realteus Forcefeel. The cabling and the control box looks very similar and SimShaker for Aviators does even recognise HF8 as a ForceFeel device. Skip NLR:s software, install the free version of SimShaker for Aviators and use HF8 as a ForceFeel device and enjoy the rumbling feedback in DCS!

Does anyone mind posting settings for their favorite aircraft please?

bear in mind that settings are very individual, because they are not only subjective, but also depend on the jet seat version. i am using the old '908' currently. anyway here you go 🙂

Greetings - is there a guide I could reference for troubleshooting sound files that are not kicking off?  There are a handful on different air frames I'm having issues with.  Currently I'm trying to solve the side gunner gun on the UH-1.  And help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated  🙂

Please check that you updated not only DCS but SSA as well first.

G- Force effect is not disengaging sometimes. Not plane specific and I have not been able to discern a pattern. Loading the plane to a tad above the setting and unloading it, stops the stuck effect. The actual thresholds of the effect do not seem to matter either.

I'm having a problem with my Simshaker sounds not vibrating when I do a test in the Avaitors app.  My jet seat tests fine, but when I either choose testing them together or Simshaker itself, I get nothing.

When I use the Simshaker main app and test it there it does put out vibration/sounds with the various choices.

Using the latest betas for both apps.

Any ideas of what I could look for?  Tried the troubleshooting from Andre's page first.

Appreciate any help, it's been BULLETPROOF for over a year!

Here you go...  Tried to get multiple screens.  Basically, as I stated, I can get my transducers to vibrate with just the Simshaker app alone, but I have to double the output, and put the volume at 80-90% and then for some reason it trips the breaker in my reciever (even though the vibration is really pretty low, and on no clipping).  If I just run the test through the Avatiors app the jetseat is fine, I can see the waveform on the Simshaker app being output, but if I feel the transducer, the output it is so low I can't feel it.  I'm using a Yamaha Home reciever amp to drive the signal.

   Appreicate the help!

Software looks  good. Maybe that's due to a hardware issue?

Can you test the hardware some alternative way?
