i dont see such taxi light effect in game

That is a Su-27 with PLAF camo? or a J-11A?

 

that's a J-11B (late variant)

note the unique lights: one on the top of the fuselage - behind the canopy - and other on the "beaver" tail

Those lights... didn't know the 33 had those. What's their purpose, considering the 33 has a perfectly fine set of landing lights like the 27 attached to the landing gear?

 

I wonder if this is the folded-in light on the right side? Never noticed that on the DCS model...

 

can be used as landing/taxi lights and for aerial refueling

nice finding!

but the wingtip looks like ECM pod not pylon adapter.

IIRC J-11B has built-in ECM, so no need ECM pod at all :pilotfly:

true. what you see on that image is the official Su-27 3D model with some house-mod or tester-mod of those additional lights

J-11B engines/shape of nozzles also not the same as the nozzles of Su-27

Wait for official posts from ED on anything such as that. They always have stuff up their sleeve, its impossible for people on the outside to guess what it is or what it might be.

The question is, have they managed to solve yesterday's issues with their master server? I'm at work, so can't check.

 

Even if the potential patch is ready, they won't publish it if people can't login and download bigger files properly.

i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

2.1 update was due today, some critical bugs have postponed it, the goal is for Friday, but it depends on how fast the bugs are smashed. Many ED guys are on vacation due to the time of the year...

The changelogs usually are not very deep and complete. They have much more under the hood than listed.
