I'm trying to be realistic though, and just hoping that we'll see the merger before the end of the year.

It's like a steal.The C-101CC is in beta testing so should be released in the next month or so (I'm guessing). So, you'll have the EB and CC versions. And both will eventually come with EFMs. So, $40 just for that is a great deal.

They recommend keeping 1.5 and 2.2 intact for downloading the new 2.5 when it becomes available to save some download time, however I just do not have enough room for this on my gaming SSD, so will have to uninstall something.
