Average Age of DCS Players?

Myself and a Co-worker we're talking about the age of pc game players. I told him that I haven't seen or heard of youngsters playing DCS. What is the average age?

I got onto DCS when I was thirteen. Fifteen now. I've encountered a couple other youths such as myself. Not many though. Most of the folks I meet on DCS are people with their own jobs and families.

23, my first two sims were Microsoft CFS1 and Janes F-15 that i played on my fathers computer when i was only 5-6 years old.

 

So they got to me at a young age ^.^

Once I had a 15-16 year old teenager as a squadron member and he was the youngest I've ever seen. By far.

So there are some very young pilots out there but only very few.

 

I think the average age is between 35 and 40.

Wow, am I the youngest one here at the moment :D? I'm 19, started with Flanker 2.0 and Il-2 Sturmovik when I was 4-5. And I'm not acting like some kiddos on AO server, when they keep crashing because they think it's fun... Maybe I'm already TOO OLD to get it :joystick:.

I seem to recall Slider from somewhere. I have terrible memory, so anything that isn't life threatening or life changing doesn't stick with me easily :/

35... stopt playing other games (only a little bit of racing because of vr...and only when friends visit).

 

But dcs simulation keeps my love and intrest :)
