Mesenzio Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 I was trying to determine what others are getting and see why mine seem to be stuck at 45FPS?? It's probably the motion reprojection, the game renders at 45FPS, while the rest of the frames are extrapolated by the WMR. Practically, if it shows 45FPS, you should have a solid 90 and all is good. Anyway that's the kind of performance you should expect in VR.
The_Nephilim Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Well I thought I had turned that feature off.. is there a ssetting somewhere elsse that can disable motion reprojection? Nealius Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 Moving to a slightly different sub-topic in the discussion, but how do you guys deal with the mouse clicking things on the desktop while flying? I like to record using OBS, but I have to start/stop my recordings by bringing the OBS window to the front of my desktop and manually clicking it--shortcut commands do not work unless the OBS window is the focus, which obviously doesn't work well when flying. But, I find that when I look down to click things, especially around the autopilot panel on the A-10C, the mouse ends up clicking something on my taskbar instead of the switch in the cockpit. How do you guys get around this?
healerf18 Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 I believe there’s a setting that constrains the mouse to the VR window. I’m away from home at the moment so I can’t double check.
Nealius Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 Wouldn't that then prevent me from clicking the record button on OBS since that sits outside the VR window?
Keshman Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 Is there a big difference in picture quality between Dell WMR 1440/1440 2,89 lcd and Samsung Odyssey plus 1440/1600 Dual Amoled 3.5 ? MazerRack Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 I don't know about the Dell, but the O+ screens give a really nice, vivid image with great resolution. The OLED screens especially do magic for flying at night. So dark.

Eaglewings Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 (edited) True, the motion blur at night when you move your head while looking at object is there. Could it be a dcs update or nvidia video settings that is causing the blur? Has anyone ever used the O+ in-built microphone with vioce attack command successfully? I have tried using it but no joy yet. I would appreciate the process setup if doable. I like flying with a reduced cables hanging around, running a seperate microphone headset would be additional cables Also I understand samsung has a new firmware 1.0.2 available for o+. Not around to check the firmware version I am currently running on. I would not want any update break the smooth experience I am having with the device at the moment. Anyone using this firmware version and what improvements does it bring? Thanks. DthFrmAbv Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 I was able to use the O+, current firmware and VoiceAttack (with Vaicom Pro). No issues. But I only did it once because my O+ died three days after I got it. If I remember correctly in the steamVR settings there is an audio tab, you can set which speakers and microphone to use when using the headset.
