First impression is that the Hornet is amazing. Just one request. Please get it out to the stable version ASAP. Really happy at this time though. I've already done a few land takeoffs and some carrier landings and just did some general flying around in the Caucasus map. Thanks for all your hard work on getting this early release out to us!

I totally agree. Yesterday I only tested this module for about 3 hours, but the first impression is terrific. Even with the early acces manual you can really start something. I hope in progress that EA / Belsimtek now deliver improvements quickly.

Great work!

Hi,

Probably the best aircraft for sim :

- AA capabilities

- AG capabilities

- Air refuelling

- Naval ops

The level of realism is so amazing that we are going to fly this aircraft for years!

ED should focuse on ops theatres if they still want to make money !

Cheers

Yesterday I flew one hour with the hornet and it‘s awesome, really love the DCS Hornet. However I need a lot of practice to handle this fantastic airplane. I tried to land on a carrier, no chance. I got too slow and crashed to the sea like a stone falling from the sky.

During the next days, I will fly much more and start with some basic maneuvers

I missed the wires two times (was able to do missed approaches and lived to tell about it), and trapped on the third try. Love this bird.

And, this is the most time I've spent with a new module in ages on the first day, as everything just feels right, looks stunning, and blows my mind in VR.

So yes, early release or not, totally awesome!

It truly is amazing, and I'll quickly just praise something not visible, but audible. Man the sound package is fantastic in the Hornet. Incredibly immersive and informative .

Fully agree on the sound, it is incredible and really adds to the immersion.

Man that fly by sound as it goes past and then on out is amazing.

I haven't even turned on the engines and am already impressed. Took a look around the cockpit and giggled like a little kid opening and closing the canopy.

I'm traveling; possibly making me the only person to try trapping with just a keyboard and mouse. Ended in what the airlines call an unscheduled water landing. :)

Wanted to add my praise here.

I have anticipated this aircraft since.......Janes!

That is where I fell in love with this aircraft.

"Yeah, and though I work in the valley of Death, I will fear no Evil. For where there is one, there is always three. I preparest my aircraft to receive the Iron that will be delivered in the presence of my enemies. Thy ALCM and JDAM they comfort me. Power was given unto the aircrew to make peace upon the world by way of the sword. And when the call went out, Behold the "Sword of Stealth". And his name was Death. And Hell followed him. It looks and flies amazingly well atm! Love American Avionics!

Hope ED will later add all features, this is really the best plane for DCS.

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.
