I live in GMT+10 and Wednesday updates are usually available by lunchtime Wednesday, so that makes it around 0200Z.

I guess it depends how many times the servers fall over before they stay up long enough for people to start seeding the whole thing ;)

If that works for you, I'll also donate my home gigabit connection, too! lol

Actually, I'd even offer some spare bandwidth I have around the US for just a taste lol.

The slow servers and the archaic torrent "technology" will ensure that, don't worry twilightsmile.png

NOT looking forward to the usual ~50kb/s download rates twi-norly.png

What about torrents are archaic? Decentralizing the downloads is a good thing.

If it just would work as expected, yes. But I'm tired of having:

50 KB/s DL

5 MB/s UL

That's how it is always though rainbowdashwink.png

And in the special case of DCS, everone finished patching doesn't seed anymore as well dealwithit.png

The module size has been said to be around 4 GB. The DL package could be less though due to compression.

Who remembers with f18 when it showed up in game under the modules but you could not download it. In my opinion it would be cool if they did a mid night release so I can feel like a kid again getting the old call of duty's at mid night then staying up till 6 in the morning playing with friends.

Midnight where :) (not that I would mind if we did midnight in each Timezone as I am currently in GMT+10 (+1 for DST so +11)).
