Nightstalker
I tried mission: DCS_P51_Bomber_Support_Caen_-_Escort Mission started and I'm 20,000 or so feet up over water with many many planes around. My frame rate was 11 FPS. Using MSI afterburner: GPU was 49 Degrees , 18%, 0%, 45% MEM 9663 CPU1 30% CPU2 9% CPU3 11% CPU4 9% RAM 17360 Fly the same plane in the same area on free flight and I would be at 120 or more FPS at 2k resolution, 4xMSAA, settings all on high. I tried mission: DSC_Spitfire_Battle_of_Britain_-_Royal_Fleet Sitting on the ground cold and dark. 120 FPS. Two Spitfires start to taxi past me and my frames drop to around 50 and then slowly go back up. Definitely a link to AI problem. I would also like to thank ED for the little patch yesterday. It solved the jumping around on the flight deck in MP. Thanks for your support!! The problem is more obvious in VR, but it's there in 2D as well. At 4K res on my monitor - wiith pretty much maxed out settings except MSAA (no need for it at that res) - I never used to see fps dropping below my frame-limited 60. Now, in all the same situations as in VR, I see 45-50. msalama
So you seem to think my ground units don't move? How odd. Look, I'm not saying anyone did a stellar job. And I'm not saying they screwed it up either. What I'm saying is that it seems to work for ME. Is that somehow impossible to accept? EDIT: I see you deleted your message. Well, here's a reply anyway. Now, in all the same situations as in VR, I see 45-50. I do see a lot of comments trying to claim this is mostly a VR problem and I can tell you it is not. I see countless posts in the bug section and off forum content that claims major problems with "2D". I also can take 5 minutes tune in and see that it is not right on my new capable machine. VR seems to exponentially make it worse indeed, but the hits without VR are very clear as well. I am certainly glad some 2D people (and even VR) report improvements. Just a basic forum scan with my eyes probably shows 1 outta 7-10 people having improvements. That's still good, but FAR from outta the hole. That being said, I am curious if ANYONE is having SOUND issues/glitches/etc as well. I am fighting crackling on my end and it is bad enough to be another gamebreaker even if the FPS TRIPLE in the next patch. :( Most likely I will be rolling back, but I do want to give this version a fighting chance to stay on my hard drive. If you do see sound issues or have any comments about this, please look at my thread in Bugs -> Performance Edited April 18, 2020 by Fang333333

DCS repair, etc.:huh::huh::huh::huh: no problem in making missions lol...Guess what? I actually test fly my missions a LOT, in the built process, especially when using script functions to spawn dynamic units... so about a third of the time is usually just flying the mission, carrier take off, destroying units with GBUs to see if dynamic spawns trigger correct etc. Apart from that, we played the mission today in Multi-Player and apart from some annoying deck-sliding (already mentioned in the patch notes) and one single disconnect (caused by a provider port reset), we had no issues. So did you try any kind of troubleshooting, or didn't you?! :dunno: Edited April 18, 2020 by shagrat Shagrat - Flying Sims since 1984 - Win 10 | i5 10600K@4.1GHz | 64GB | GeForce RTX 3090 - Asus VG34VQL1B | TrackIR5 | Simshaker & Jetseat | VPForce Rhino Base & VIRPIL T50 CM2 Stick on 200mm curved extension | VIRPIL T50 CM2 Throttle | VPC Rotor TCS Plus/Apache64 Grip | MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals | WW Top Gun MIP | a hand made AHCP | 2x Elgato StreamDeck (Buttons galore)

There does not seem to be any category for that. Just FYI, dynamic spawning on the USS Stennis went from okay-ish to really bad. Side effect of the SC implementation? Rhino1980
Well, multiplayer, on the carrier is SHAGGED now. Bouncing and wobbling all over the place, so much ot feels like you gonna be sick in VR. Woody01
So work with me here, am I to understand correctly the Super Carrier was delayed because it had issues in multiplayer, only to release a patch that completely renders the current carriers inoperable in multiplayer? The Flying Kiwis are flying some pretty massive, well coordinated, well planned online missions now days of over 24 pilots for each mission at least twice a week. We are busy! But the state of 2.5.6 is quite shocking, and it takes a LOT for me to come here and leave a negative review. My frame rates in VR were very good though, just a shame about the planes bouncing around and smashing into each other on the carriers, a shame almost everyone hard locking at Khasab on landing, a shame about a lot of guys unable too even login on multi player after crashing out of DCS (maybe the servers are being hammered with the free for all?). Might have been better to just release the Super Carrier, at least we would be where we are now with multi player but we would actually have the super carrier (could it be any worse? Really?). I was part of this tonight. A lot of effort was put in to mission building, planning and execution. Seems like you guys broke the crap out of some thing this patch, because last Sundays mission was very successful and DCS ran quite well considering our player load. Greyman
It works fine with VAICOM Pro, as long as you have deleted the export.lua file, in ../Saved Games/<DCS Folder>/Scripts and restarted DCS & Voice Attack, after every time you have updated DCS.
