Something feels different with flight controls as well. Yesterday did like 20 approaches and I'm sure it was handling differently.

Do not expect fairness.

The times of chivalry and fair competition are long gone.

Thank god I'm not stupid. The same here.

I always come in way too low into the groove, but my muscle memory's doing exactly what it did on a thousand approaches in Bankler's mission. Something feels different. During the final turn, she´s dropping a lot faster. Have to work the throttles a lot more. Hard to describe.

I can also affirm that the hornet is different now, at least the throttle.

I wasn't really good before, but now the carrier landings are horrible.

Could it be, that shes accelerating/decelerating faster than before?

Something is different with turn radius as well. Cannot achieve correct lineup at start, always overshot.

Nothing seems changed in the flight model. They did however change the curves.

I had my curves so that when I'm at the detent on my warthog I'm on the in-game detent according to the in game control indicator. Now if I'm in the same position it indicates I'm past the detent and the afterburner are already on.

Great. After everyone got used to it. And undocumented! I mean... no drama. But... why?!

My warthog is at 100% exactly at the detent

All my axis and curves are the same as before the update.

My bug feels (to me) far more twitchy than before, in a really good way.

Control surface and throttle changes seem (to me) far more responsive.

I thought I was going a bit mad, I found it very “floating” feeling the pattern today, I will go and check the curves first, thanks

Before the update my afterburner kick in just after my detent on Warthog throttle, now is a bit after my detent.

I feel too my Hornet more twitchy, at least at landing config, an the engone looks to have way less lag

ok so i just tested this, my throttle curves are still good, in the sense that power starts where it should moves into AB when it should etc... so i must still be going mad... or something else changed

are you guys by any chance referring to the new SC CASE I mission? cause i just tried bankler's v5.2.0, and it doesn't feel that much different than before. even after editing it to replace the stennis with the SC.

the SC CASE I mission DOES feel a lot different, and i am starting to think it's because it has wind shifting from 30kt at 1600ft down to 15kt at see-level, where bankler's has NO wind at all...

So the only difference is "just" vs "a bit" after? :smartass:

If it's the Supercarier Case 1 mission you are referring to the wind in that is brutal. The carrier is going slow and the wind component is pushing you. It can make you balloon and will have you doing a lot more with the throttles etc.
