reported earlier Al Dhafra air base ILS issues

Hi all.

For these types of reports, always make sure to test the ILS system with various maps and even different runways before claiming the system doesn't work. Sometimes it's the runway itself that has an issue and not the module.

I've tested this in the Caucasus map, approaching Batumi and it does work. 
If you still think this is a bug for the DCS: F-16C feel free to add a track and I'll take another look. If it's map related, perhaps take it to the corresponding map forum.

I'm doing a lot of Tacan/VOR and ILS training lately - in different aircraft. And for all, ILS does work sometimes and sometimes doesn't.

map problem, not aircraft; been reported for ages. makes some of the most interesting airfields on PG not very useable if ILS approaches are needed/wanted

Additionally At some airports, the frequencies are also simply reversed

Once again, a track isn't what's needed here.

What's needed here is for a dev to check ALL the airport ILS info on the map, because a lot of it is jacked.  Just like how the rest of the map is disappointing.  (no Qatar or Oman).

Please understand that for a proper bug report, we need to have a short concise track and all other info you might have that is related.

If you want to report a bug, then yes it is a 'me' problem, because see I cannot report your bug unless you give me all the needed info. I know it's hard to see but there are just a few more active threads than this one and we require the extra info to streamline reporting. Again, I know, a 'me' problem. So understand that this is what we need for a proper bug report. It is totally your right not to report bugs if you do not want to follow our very simple guidelines.

I have merged this with an already reported bug thread for Al Dhafra, if you find other issues with other air bases and/or maps, please make a new report with required tracks.

There is an open Bug report from 4 years ago and it's still not fixed.
It's just a little config error. I myself could fix it in 5 minutes if given the possibility.

If runway 13 is active, ILS for 31 is active. If runway 31 is active, ILS for 13 is active. Someone just did a little oopsie with the config numbers. Honestly this shouldn't even take 5 minutes to fix.

What airport, what wind, which runway? 

Can you give us any info that narrows down the issue?!

it seems omam’s frequency is reversed. 

 

no need for tracks in this case I think.

In mission editor runway 13L should use 111.10

but the one shows in f10 map is 109.10

Is that Al Dhafra? If yes, it is a known issue.
