How about this one .... 

I am looking to create a dynamic WHS at a FARP for the OH-6.  I want to limit the number of rockets so I can have players replenish the FARP with cargo from the Chinook.  However, I cannot locate these rockets in the WHS inventory of the FARP.  Anyone know where I can find the XM158 rockets in the base DCS WHS inventory?  I can't find them in the AG Rockets section.

I cant see the searchlight in the payload ammo reload page..

 

and the command to deploy it or binds dont do anything... do i need to mount it or its suposed to be there allready?

Searchlight is to be mounted. It looks like a stage spotlight. I usually have it on the left with the gun. But you need to turn on landing/hover light before you turn on searchlight. Not sure why. Maybe it's a requirement because you'd be near the ground when searching.

Thanks!. found it .. it was on  Xtra..i was lookin for it in the other slots and could find it there

A quick question - In flight with and without floats the right hand float/skid is up at the back and slightly down at the front - the left hand floats looks fine.  The image in the ME everything appears to be at the correct angles, and thst static model looks fine as well.  Its only apparent in flight.  

Is this a known issue or have I screwed something up. ?  (What - if you know ?)

In the ME it looks fine.

In flight I get this:  Its affecting the right hand skids/floats only as far as I can tell.

I'm using V1.4, and I have been trying to fix this myself without any luck. These images are with a vanilla install and some minor adjustments to how the livereis appear, just a peronsal thing that should not affect this in any way.

Thanks Sparrow - That looks fine to me so I'm guessing I have a conflict of some sort. Will have to try and isolate it.  👍

 

Its an AI issue only - in Flyable mode its fine.  The developers have said this is not an AI mod, so that explains it.

Sorry - another question about this super little mod - concernning Liveries

To get the Liveries to show up in game I have to add both these lines in the entry.lua:

mount_vfs_liveries_path(current_mod_path .. "/Liveries/OH-6A")    -- with its associated OH-6A Folder
mount_vfs_liveries_path(current_mod_path .. "/Liveries")              -- with each livery in the that "Liveries" folder

And I have to have 2 separate liveries for each line, so duplicating all of them.

If I delete one of those lines with its assocaited liveries, none of them show up in the game. 

 

I have never come across this before and I have been around the game since it was driven by coal (I'm ancient !!).

 

Is this correct or do I have yet another bug or conflict in my setup -  its no big deal, I really like this wee mod -  but I'm curious - what is the correct line entry ?

 

Late Edit - Figured it out - its a weird arrangement for the way the game Liveries normally work but its done.

If you see nothing in the ME dropdowns then I suspect you have the Weapons Mod incorrectly installed. 

 

OR - THIS - your looking in the wrong place !!

Yes, that was it, I was looking at the three points on right side, but thank you very much now I found it. This is a very fun feature, I really like it how the copter is rocking a little bit on the waves! I still have minor complaint, with floats equipped, it is no longer possible to land on ships, the helicopter is bouncing around like crazy once you touch the deck. It is no problem on land though.

Napalm effect

there is 2 version of this script:
1. Napalm effect integrated to Splashdamage
2. Only Napalm effect without splashdamage

Just create trigger (do_script_file) to load one of the script
be aware that with lot of explosion , game can crash

I tried Tarawa, Super Carrier, Seawise Giant, and the Supply Ship I think. The bouncing effect seems similar when landing on water, but on water the bouncing stops, but on the ships it goes on without stopping.

Apologies if this has been asked before but a search didn't yield anything.

I feel a little stupid asking this as I'm sure the solution will be very simple, but I am unable to find the OH-6A in the mission editor's dropdown list of aircraft. Even when I open an existing mission which contains the OH-6A and copy the parameters exactly I can't find a way to place an additional one 🤷‍♂️ 

Any help would be greatly appreciated 🥴

- Are you able to play the training missions? (just to confirm installation is correct)
- Not sure about this but is the watch symbol (historical limitation) at bottom of the ME clicked?

I can confirm the bouncy floaters thing..

 

did a quick try with a Seawise giant..a Tarawa and a Burke.. all 3 of them had same behaviour.. the floaters bounce a lot and also dont grip at all and the helicopter begins to slide backwards.. did a quick video (warning.. lame flying skills follow, view at discrection)

 

 

The third attempt in the Tarawa i tried lowering the throttle to idle but no effect..it kept sliding backwards

Just for test can you try with 1.3 version of Suspensions.lua ? I have similar problem but without floaters with other mods (Upuaut Helipads, CAP boat, .....) and reversing to 1.3 lua file solved it.
