I think most would rather have delays, even repeated delays as opposed to getting a bugged/broken update.

In my opinion, I prefer the patch to be delayed until all the major issues are solved than having something broken that could spoil my gameplay. Just take your time and keep up the good work guys.

Once you see the patch notes and consider all that is coming with this patch, I would not call it routine.

@NineLine, @BIGNEWY thanks to you and the DCS Team for all the updates, outreach and being cautious.  I think it's important that DCS World get it right - especially with a MRAP and Afghanistan map in the works, as well as a F-15E radar fix.

I wouldn't call it magnanimity, it's just behaving like an adult and understanding that the real world is not perfect. I don't work in software development, but I work as a BIM specialist in construction. Every project can face delays, regardless of the sector you are working on. Sometimes, it's inevitable to reach a major block and that can lead us to postpone the delivery to the customer. It's not something we enjoy, but sometimes, it's just necessary in order to deliver a quality product/project

This can definitely be done! It just depends on whether E.D is willing or not

Content updates require core updates, generally we would not have so many new features and product releases together, but in this case we have, as the newsletter mentioned some stoppers appeared that needed more time. When we are ready to update we will let you all know.

Delays can be greatly avoided if routine updates are separated from new product launches

Why is it that when I first purchased it on STEAM, it was priced at HK$547.99, but a few minutes later I refreshed the store and found the price changed to HK$430.56 ......

I seem to have overpaid HK$100 What's going on here?

Same, I paid £57.30 and it's now listed at £43.37.

I've asked for a refund through Steam as, although £13.93 isn't a lot, it seems a waste to over pay for something that seems very much "Early Access" and incomplete.

Once/if Steam process my refund - I'll purchase at the now correct lower price.

The initial price was the "release" price. Not the EA price. Happens on Steam all the time...

Yeah... I just went into the map to take a look and it's a bit off from the trailer, it doesn't seem to be very finished at the moment..

No map in DCS has ever release finished that I can remember and there were lots of disclaimers floating around stating it wouldn't be finished at release. The trailer has a disclaimer that it is made with different version...or something like that. Welcome to early access.

What part? if you overfly Kabul is quite different than doing it over Kandahar
