You got a game(/product) and a thank you for giving them money And where does it say that you'll get trust and support back? as far as I understand the EULA, it's a business transaction it seems more like you are under the assumption you connected yourself to some kind of religion with your purchase Yeah, but it's still people on both sides of the transaction and sometimes you pick up good vibes, like you do with Heatblur or India Fox Techo, or you get something on the other side of the fence like with, well... the dev we are discussing in this thread. As far as good vibes morphing into trust, that's up to the individual. But I don't think it's unreasonable to have a certain amount of trust even in an online transaction. 1 Some of the planes, but all of the maps!

It's newcomers (or at least to this forum) to DCS that have your opinion. You joined in 2023, I joined in 2005. Your views are based on recent events and not DCS as a whole. DCS has been around for over 20 years and even longer if you look back at the history of the product. Yes, many of us do support the platform and for good reason, it's been developed from a philanthropist origin that no other 'commercial' product is comparable, other than BMS. Please don't exaggerate nonsense, ED are very supportive of everything in DCS so it is not fair to say they don't. You are, of course entitled to you opinion. Mizzy 2

You make it sound like ED take your money and run and just abandon everything which is far from the truth. ED and the other developers still provide updates, support and the game itself is constantly being updated. There has been some issues with things like the Hawk but in general updates/support are pretty good, maybe not as fast as some people would like but they still get there. Technically the only one not updating or offering support at the moment is Razbam which hopefully will be resolved one day soon. When we get the patches and major updates there's always quite a bit in there in the way of fixes and added features. Yes there has been some issues with the last few breaking things but they have sorted some of the issues, it's pretty hard to get a good balance with hundreds, if not thousands of differently configured PC's, not to mention third party mods. 13 hours ago, Mizzy said: It's newcomers (or at least to this forum) to DCS that have your opinion. I'm fairly new to the forums but started at the beginning when it was Lock On: Modern Air Combat, then on to Lock On: Flaming Cliffs so like you watched it progress into what it is now over the past 20 years. I got Lock On around at the end of 2003, maybe early 2004 just after it was released and still got the original CD boxed up in the garage with a load of other CD's and DVD's I started with DCS with the A-10C Warthog and original Blackshark, the A-10C is still pretty good and I still fly it, the original Blackshark has progressed a lot since the original. erniedaoage Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 And there is still a difference when people rant and complain about a topic, or start throwing stones without enough background information and evidence. The haters are usually the ones throwing the stones and complaining if they return like a boomerang. Honestly Razbam did a lot of questionable moves since they became a 3rd party. I own 3 of their modules and i am not happy with any of them, because ffb is non existent in their modules. So i haven't bought anything from them and won't buy anything in the future. Doesn't matter to me which module those party announces. And believe me i want that mig-23 really bad, but i am not making such a mistake again. I bet the list of modules Razbam announced to bring to DCS is longer than the planned modules of every other 3rd party together. But honestly i hope it takes a good end, since a lot of people without ffb sticks can still enjoy their modules.
