cm2 Posted April 7 Posted April 7 I bought the F-15E Strike Eagle back in 2023 but haven't really tried or checked on it and its progress. So does this mean the module is totally canceled? If So I want a Refund. 3

cm2 Posted April 7 Posted April 7 I see. The thing is I want a fully working F-15E Strike Eagle in DCS, one of my favorite Fighters. If Razbam pulled out of it, couldn't ED just start a new F-15E Eagle module from scratch? 2

Czar66 Posted April 7 Posted April 7 (edited) ED should contact Steam to accept refund requests for the SE outside their normal rules (2h play time or 2 weeks since purchase, whatever is higher). This situation is definitely outside the normality. Those customers deserve the same treatment who bought it on the official store is receiving... Edited April 7 by Czar66 2
Ignition Posted April 7 Posted April 7 4 hours ago, draconus said: They still lose the money by giving the credit away - when users buy the modules using the credit while they would pay money otherwise. ED doesn't loose money, its just an exchange. ED is not crafting the F-15E with materials, labor and workforce. They just aren't earning more, but they will if the development of the F-15E resume. 1

It is a private matter and the statement we made after RAZBAM went public will likely be the only one until the dispute is resolved. We all hope for a good outcome. thank you @Bignewy this is an example of the messaging that hasn't sat well with me. Of course the public were brought in to this - as they should have been a product that was in EA was/is in jeopardy of being discontinued due to, allegedly, nonpayment by company it was being developed for. This is alarming, full stop. Now that you have removed the products from the product page, I really feel as if a some sort of message is necessary from your legal team. I am really beginning to wonder if the 56 licenses I hold in your store are sound. Mike Force Team Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Since RZ withdrew their modules, RZ does not have to worry about providing a free mirage 2000 upgrade provided the dispute between ED and RZ would be resolved.

Mike Force Team Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Ignoring, whitewashing, and disregarding a persistent problem is a poor way to manage customer expectations. ED is not managing expectations in a way they end-users expect. When persistently neglected over time, this can cause trust issues in our community. 6
AJaromir Posted April 7 Posted April 7 (edited) Many times ED has been accused of not pulling the module from the store. This is what I've been written the whole time. It is RAZBAM who control their modules in the ED store. Edited April 7 by AJaromir 6 3
flecktyphus Posted April 7 Posted April 7 The way I see it there is no trust held or deserved by ED in this situation. 2

ED Team NineLine Posted April 7 ED Team Posted April 7 Dear all, I have updated the first post with this: After receiving an official request by RAZBAM to remove products from sale we have done so. All products will be fully supported by DCS and will continue to operate. What does this mean? It means the modules developed by RB are no longer for sale (or in the process of being removed from sale). This does not change our current goal of resolving the issue at hand. Thanks all, and once again, personally and on behalf of the team, I am sorry to each and everyone of our customers that are being put through this rollercoaster ride. 5 1 Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**

I mean sure all software is a license but this is one of the main reasons why I Will not “buy” anything from steam and only from GOG or directly from the dev so long as it doesn’t require a persistent (or semi) online check. Or if Steam is the only marketplace I will look to see if there’s a non-steam launcher. DCS being the only exception. Guess I’ll be on the customer service later requesting a refund. 1 My first assigned aircraft is in my profile name Ryzen 9800x3d/64gb DDR5 amd expo/RTX 5090/4tb m2/ Win11 pro/Pimax crystal light Winwing Orion F16ex (Shaker kit)/Skywalker pedals/Orion 2 F15EX II Throttle/3 MFD units/Virpil CM3 Mongoose Throttle/Trackir 5 F-16/A10II A/C /F-18/F-15E/F-15C/F-14/F5E II/F-4/Ah64/UH60/P51-D/Super Carrier/Syria/Sinai/Iraq/Persian Gulf/Afghanistan/Nevada/Normandy 2.0
