Is it me or did I miss the propellor reverse blade angle on the landing?  Way to lame, no they don't use brakes to slow down, not the ones I crewed in.

The video description might shed some light there:

The following video is just us messing around with one of the several ways that you can go about navigating to an airfield.

That said, please be advised that we are not professional pilots and do not have an instrument rating. This is just a quick and dirty demonstration of some of the awesome work that ASC has put into this bird. It's going to be a lot of clicking for sure and I'm sure you will all be better at all this than we are.

Personally, I really enjoyed the video, but I wouldn't know if anything they did was procedurally wrong. Either way, "lame" isn't the type of constructive criticism I would have picked for the first live look we get at the new module. To each their own, I guess.

Why do all the latest official DCS videos show the new soilder models, they have been doing this now for a couple of years, yet they are not in the game at all, they really are showing misleading content.

The C130 looks amazing though, I'll purchase once I see how the logistics work and if this is expanded out to the CH47 which is very lacking in that department offically.

I mean it'll be like 50% off on it's release out of EA by 2031 if you can wait that long. It only took three years from announcement to EA.

Yes, absolutely. Only(!) three years, which is actually quite fast, for such a complex DCS module.

And considering they did basically dump all the existing code base AND the 3D model and started from scratch along the current development (see interview below), that's an incredible development pace.
