It is not a poll because the thread creator did not create it as a poll. Nothing sinister about it at all.

Who would be interested in an Su-34?

Thinking about it, and Su-34, either complex or FC3 style, would be a pretty fun module to have along with the Multi-Crew capabilities of 1.5/2.0. It would probably be similar to create in terms of flight modeling as the Su-27/33, albeit a little more sluggish.

What do you guys think? Would you guys want a multicrew Su-34?

Hell yes!! It would be a great addition to the game, having a true tactical bomber to complement the Su-25T which is more of a CAS aircraft. That being said, I think having the Su-24M2 would be a more realistic prospect as the Su-34 is a latest generation strike aircraft for the VKS and probably mostly still secret :(

System Spec: Cooler Master Cosmos C700P Black Edition case. | AMD 5950X CPU | MSI RTX-3090 GPU | 32GB HyperX Predator PC4000 RAM | | TM Warthog stick & throttle | TrackIR 5 | Samsung 980 Pro NVMe 4 SSD 1TB (boot) | Samsung 870 QVO SSD 4TB (games) | Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.

Personal wish list: DCS: Su-27SM & DCS: Avro Vulcan.

Not enough declassified info on that one to make it in to full DCS module for many years to come.

Too new.

On the other hand there is plethora of little older excellent Russian jets which could make in to great DCS module - SU-24, SU-27, Mig-29 ...

It is really sad situation that Russian company doesn't have full DCS module of Russian made multi role fighter ... :( However, given current World affairs, global interest in Russian jets is going to soar - so, the financial feasibility is definitely solid.

This! I totally agree.

The Su-34 is probably too classified to make an accurate DCS module. So I would rather see a Su-27 or especially a multi-role MiG-29 than that. And yeah, we really lack some russian (and european) DCS level jet fighter modules.

Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

The MiG-29K has a combination of low-observable technology, advanced electronic-warfare capabilities, reduced ballistic vulnerability, and standoff weapons to enhance the fighter's survivability.

This means couple of decades of classified status on complete aircraft and guarantee that FSB would not be too happy to see someone releasing sensitive hi-tech information to general public ... ;)

So, SU-33 is the only realistic proposal for Russian DCS naval multirole fighter, especially now as it is being replaced by MiG-29K.

su-27SM3 the favorite?

the best sukhoi is the newest 35BM, all the best gizzmos and most comparable for combat to the F/A-18 DCS may bring out.

though irl, reality may be that they would fight against the SM3

And probably impossible to find enough data on its systems.

i was thinking about this today and figured the same thing. I would still want to see a proper £30 Sukhoi with thrust vectoring and all the clickable buttons. I'd never go outside hahaa:helpsmilie:

I didn't vote for any? There are enough Russian planes. We need US or other NATO country aircraft to counter what we already have.

I9 9900k @ 5ghz water cooled, 32gb ram, GTX 2080ti, 1tb M.2, 2tb hdd, 1000 watt psu TrackIR 5, TM Warthog Stick and Throttle, CH Pedals

i'm going to look around and see if i cant dig anything up.

su-27SM2 ( su-27 'block' upgrade with some equipment form the su-35BM/S)

SU-35BM/S (last flanker) and Su-27SM3 (sm2 but built new) are out of the question but we might be able to stretch to the SU-27SM (su-27 mid life upgrade)
