hubson Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 So, is there going to be the red UFC or is it still subject to change? Hey guys, pretty basic(and short) video of the F-15E in DCS.. Prowler
Timghetta Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 Originally the Legacy UFC was modeled. We are looking into doing the new Digital Green UFC, and if we can both. But this all depends on the information and ability we have to make it correct. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] We take the Metal and bring it to Mesh

Razor5-1 Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 I'd love to be able to try both! Excellent news that it's being considered.

SkateZilla Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Coming along very nicely there Tim. Next week a pic with those MFDs switched on? Quote from FaceBook: guys, 1st of all, i need to emphasize the fact that we are under a extremely strict NDA, having said that, the DCS code is evolving and some stuff we are working on (code wise) simply can´t be shown until it clears since it´s licensed developers only. So, for a short time being, it will be 3d work until we get the clearance to show the rest.. Timghetta Posted November 21, 2012 Author Posted November 21, 2012 Thanks everyone, we still have a long way to go even on the 3D model, with items getting re-mapped, and these aren't even the final textures. I will be excited when the texture artist does his magic on them. Here is a short little video. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] We take the Metal and bring it to Mesh
Xeno426 Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 What level of fidelity are you going for? Full avionics (insofar as you can with unclassified information) and clickable cockpit?

Sierra99 Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 Timeframe? couldn't tell you, too early to say, I can say it is a high priority project for Razbam maybe even will be the first one done. We have a lot of work to do, and we will be active with DCS even while while working on other projects, we do not want our forums to go dormant. Every week we have a "DCS Wednesday" where we only concentrate directly on DCS related projects. I am personally trying to get this changed to 2 days a week, but I have to see what Ron says. Razbam and I want to deliver this F-15E in a timely manner, but Timeframe is not possible. Here is a screenshot of the UI main menu. I wanted to get some feed back on what everyone thinks? -Tim Well Tim, I'll tell ya as a retired KC-10A Boom Operator... I LIKE IT!
