Corrigan Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1573258&postcount=4 DCS 1.2.1 Update - 8 October 2012 With the auto update today, we believe the cursor issue is now resolved and we think that 1.2.1 is in a good state. We will now be focusing on DCSW 1.2.2, FC3 and the final version of CA. Thanks So no more auto updates, I assume. Blue smoke until 1.2.2. :( Bad news for those among us who like making videos. Blue smoke until 1.2.2. :( Bad news for those among us who like making videos. There is active work on adjusting the smoke, optimizing explosions and other items. If they are completed prior to 1.2.2, they will be released as updates. Britchot Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I don't think that this means "no more updates." I think the remaining issues are on a lower priority than the game affecting FPS, activations, cursors, and other issues fixed within the last week. I'm sure the guys at ED will be pushing patches out to fix these concerns but they will not be at the cyclic rate of the ones we've seen in the last 7 days. Esac_mirmidon Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 What about restoring the russian sounds version in DCSW? It´s very unpleasent search, copy and paste sounds from other DCS products with russian voices into DCSW. Could ED consider to restore the sounds/speech folder to RUS and ENG versions? lokitexas Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I hope the No radio com's for wingman with the Black Shark, and framerate issues with the BS missions "Gauntlet" and "Battle", are considerd serious enough to fix before 1.2.2. Esac_mirmidon Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Thanks Mustang, there are a couple of sounds, no to much, that has no match with the actual version, because there are new sounds added or because they have different names. IvanK Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 How is this updater meant to work ? I was under the impression that first DCS session of the day (my PC clock time I presume) when I launch DCS world the updater would go and look for updates. This didnt happen this morning. However when I right clicked on the Start Menu/Programs DCS world "Update DCS world" it went off and found an update and applied it.

cichlidfan Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I had to manually run mine this afternoon as well, which makes me wonder how they are counting days. If it is a 24hr reset cycle, it would be useful to know. Also, someone else posted it, it needs a checkbox to tell it to run DCS World or not after the update. Mustang Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Thanks Mustang, there are a couple of sounds, no to much, that has no match with the actual version, because there are new sounds added or because they have different names. You downloaded the latest package? it's the precise version for 1.2.1 so there should be no problems with it.
oceanoftimeGER Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Is anyone experiencing some strange behaviours when engaging with the GAU-8? It feels like I'm 'stuck' in PAC-1 mode or my joystick is somewhat unresponsive after I finish firing rounds and release the trigger to move the pipper onto my second target (build 6241)
