Rangi Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Obviously not with 1.2.3 but has there been any mention to say that FC3 aircraft other than the Su-25T are going to get an AFM? I started with A-10C but have been playing the frogfoot lately, the other day i jumped into the F-15C and once you go AFM you can never go back...to SFM. I couldnt find any mention of this so has there been any official word on this? PC: 6600K @ 4.5 GHz, 12GB RAM, GTX 970, 32" 2K monitor.

What they mentioned, and I can't find the source now, was that when an FC3 equivalent AC is released as a DCS product, the AFM will be "ported" over to the FC3 aircraft. Each AFM is unique, - i.e. A-10C has its' own AFM, GBU-12 - its' own, etc. Su-25 AFM is kind of dated, since it has been introduced in 2005 with FC1, IIRC.

My gut reaction was that FM stood for Flight Model, but if that is the case I don't know what the A and S stand for. But I might be completely off.
