Mi-24 no FW-90 yeah just left if off...he ran through the list we've already heard so I didn't include it. The F-86 and Mig-15 don't remember hearing before and to my knowledge this is the first I've heard "officially" that F/A-18C and F-15C are ED exclusives aka not 3rd party.

i thought DCS means: highly detailed external model + hi-det 6DOF clickable cockpit + AFM (with "real" damage and collision model, avionics, radar, fuel, hidro etc. systems)

if it is only "closer" that means no DCS but FC level to me

i dont have problems with FC-level aircrafts but what can we "find" between DCS and FC ?

how will it "closer" ?

missing AFM and/or clickable pit ?

or no authentic but hypothetic AFM and radar (Su-27SM, F-15E, F-18E/F, F-22 etc.) ?

Well as long it has at least 6DOF pit and AFM, it's not that bad, but still...

 

Actually, i thought that ED plans to focus entirely on high-fidelity modules (A-10C / Ka-50 level), and that FC3 is the last one of their mid-fidelity sims. And honestly, I wouldn't mind.

I know the dynamic campaign has a long road ahead for its completion, but its great to see some official statements that they are working towards it.

You could certainly see the foundations starting to take place over the last year or two, but this is the first time I've seen the goal explicitly stated by someone near the top.

 

You must have missed it then as the intention was stated repeatedly as early as BS release, along with that it would be a long process for everything to fall in place.

I would prefer that you announce the news of DCS World, first here in the official forum of the ED.

Customers of ED are here. I think they have the right to be informed first.

Then later you can go around the world to release interviews.

I say this because every time you communicate something very important, this always occurs first outside this forum.
