Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

I think the move to 64 bit only will address this down the road.

Moving to 64-bit Operating Systems Only

As we move forward improving the DCS World environment, we are more and more often running into roadblocks that prevent us from doing so due to supporting 32 bit operating systems. This includes larger and more populated worlds with greater terrain mesh details and textures. By moving to 64 bit support only, we will be able solve this and allow larger missions with more units, and it will allow us to improve visual effects.

This change will be coming in the next few months.

yes, but there was almost a weekly update by wags for some time.

Unfortunately I think we beat that horse to death during 1.2.3 that it dares not to get up again.;) I guess the best indicator may be the release status of the UH-1 Huey, but then again information is hard to come by there also. :(

Hm... somehow the release status of the Huey is very irritating.

"working on installer"

"but not for 1.2.3"

"soon"

"days or weeks"

"Already really soon.."

"days or weeks"

:(

I guess an info if 1.2.4 is planned to be released this month or later would be nice...

I get the feeling the Huey is ready to rock and roll for a release (albeit beta) but 1.2.4 is not.

unfortunately i will repeat myself :smartass:

yeah, that's why they came up with DCSW patch 1.2.3.10201 (last five digit !) and not with 1.2.4.0201 :wallbash:

few months ago they used last-four-digit patch numbers but now i guess we will need to wait until 1.2.3.99999 come up :D

The test team hit a bug that made release of 1.2.4 unacceptable, that bug is now being checked by ED and hopefully things will move towards a release soon.
