You can fly in Outerra to Himalaya :D . But +8000m is a lot for the Apache there. I mean, I am not sure it can fly/hover at that alt.

Yep, know Lukla scenery (Aerosoft) and Nemeth Mi-8 (FS2004):

Czech private Mi-8 is picking up some airsoft "warriors"... IMHO the co-pilot is a trainee :D

5:40, 7:20 - do you see those power lines? No? Compare it to the DCS World ones... :(

The documentary is awesome. Nice footage as well, including combat.

Nice video as well! You can hear the click-click from the trimmer very well. If you watch to the end you can actually see that it is in fact the trimmer making that sound!

The videos about the MI-8 part 1 and 2 were quite good thanks.

I hope they give us the version with the uprated engines!

The screenies look very promising! If its even half as good as the Huey i will be a happy simmer! Maybe this has been answered somewhere, but will it be able to employ ATGMs? How will the guidance mechanics work?

Managed to blag entry into the MI8, at the Weston Helicopter museum today while visiting the flight sim convention, Photos to follow. :)

Must say it looks a rather interesting helicopter to fly.

record altitude choppers can make now stands at 8600 meters!!!

the OFFICIAL Record is held by a SA315B Lama on 12'442m...

Inofficial with a Ecurueil on over 12'500....

And the Landing is hold by the Ecureuil on the Top of the Everest... but they say that they done it with a Lama also long time ago

Great video!

we make no such modification of Mi-8. In the video version of the Mi-8T, but we have the MTV2, which have very different start engine procedure. In addition, very different engines, power equipment and instruments.
