They do look good. I just hope that translates from YouTube to my machine without a big FPS hit.

Rarely I am impressed but this time I truly am :D

Engine smoke is fabulous and it seems to be dependent of the engines' RPM too. Polish MiGs smoke like hell compared to other planes so I hope smoke will be fully configurable.

Wintips are cool too!

Sounds are great but are not from the game :) Nicely made anyway.

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

Doesnt the first 5 seconds of the Video Title say ("Audio is Edited, Not in Game")

Dive plane's audio mods are pretty good.

Perhaps if the lettering was equal in size as the video title then my blind ass would have caught it!! :D I need font size as if it was from Tom, Dick & Jane books!!:music_whistling:

Just amazing how much immersive feeling the smoke effect and wingtip vortices adds to the game alone. And just as someone mentioned that sound would've been cool to see in the future. Although Diveplane's mod comes quite close ;)

Btw, think I've rewatch the video 20 times by now

I'll have to check that out! Need to re-learn Modman, I haven't used that in quite a while. Skate, does having a mod like this complicate the version update process? Hoping there is a thread to read about this.

It's like watching this video. Just a question regarding the smoke. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like there is less smoke, almost none at all, when the afterburners are engaged, why is that ?

Uninstall mod, update, re-install.

if you dont uninstall, updater will overwrite files and move them to a backup folder anyway.

Those wing-tip vertices and smokes are amazing. Much more impressive in motion than a screenshot.

Higher Temps and Pressure.

and better burning

fulcrum engines make a lot of smoke but only without using afterburners

that's why they (mig-29 pilots irl) must use minimal afterburner in combat

And on a sidenote, what i posted on my facebook page earlier has nothing to do with todays update. :)

I hope wing tip condensation vortices are weather dependent. If they occur every time you hit a pre-ordained g level, despite the moisture content of the air they become rather boring and cliche. To put it another way the moisture content and temperature of the air dictates how much pressure drop will cause condensation. So landing in Florida on a humid day (redundant) after a thunderstorm has dropped the temperature and raised humidity to 99.999% you will probably get vortices at 1g when slow on final coming off both wingtips and flap edges. In air that has dumped all of its moisture trying to climb over the Sierra Nevadas then adiabatically compressed to high temp coming back down isn't going to generate any vortices no matter how many g's you pull.
