Sorry, my focus was on "used by" instead of "produced by". Id say the Phantom is most important fighter in germanys history in Post-WW-times

Gripen or tornado.

Typhoon , mirage F1 and 2000 are enough from french ATM.

Time for a early gripen model or late tornado model.

I agree I'll be happy with French planes when the F1 comes, but France doesn't use the Typhoon. They have the Rafale.

Instead of a european aircraft they could give us a european theatre. Fulda gap would be the scenery the A10 was designed for. It would also be a good scenario for the cold war fighters. Even the WW II warbirds would fit there (when slightly changed)

If F-16 out no plane will sell.

So they put t in hold I guess we are talking about one of the most sold fighters in the world.

I have been away from the DCS for a period now.. I have noticed that in the recent news letter "1-30-2016" there was no mention of a forward involvement for "air to ground radar" In the past they (Dev's) did say that in the DCS World 2 would allow the ability to have A2G radar for all us ground pounders... Could anyone please point me in the direction of that link. Thanks. I can NOT find any more information on the search engine here at the forum.. As far as I can see most of the aircraft here in the Wish list that us the community would love to see would have an air to ground radar. I wish we could start looking forward to modern aircraft that have working Air to Ground Radar!

it's confirmed in the works for the F/A-18 hornet. After that it may be implemented on other modules as well. planes that realistically don't have it naturally won't get it ofcourse. I don't have articles but I do have a WIP screenshot of the system.

Tornado would be the number one for me but then again since it's a two seater it’s not a good option to fly it alone.

I remember playing Tornado "simulator" on Amiga where it was possible to change seats during the flight. This was however a simple game. With high level of simulation offered by DCS it’s hard for me to imagine how this plane could be efficiently operated by a single person. In the real word the pilot and armament systems operator are there for a reason. It would be an interesting option but rather for those that can have friends to otern fly with.

For those reasons rather than Tornado I would like to see Rafale. Especially the "M" version would be unique from the perspective that it can operate from carriers and (as far as I'm aware) there are no European carrier capable planes planned for DCS at the moment. The question however is how much information is on it is unclosed to public.

Currently everything related to the Rafale' systems is classified. And that is also true for older French fighters. That's why Razbam had a hard time finding accurate informations for their M2000C.
