  2. You can if yo nerd learn.
  3. Der Kraftstoff im Zusatztank wird sowieso zuerst verbraucht, dürfte also bei Feindkontakt schon leer sein.
  4. I use track replays all day every day reproducing issues and reporting them, as we have mentioned many times the replay system was initially a debug system and DCS has developed a lot over the last 16 years +. Our devs use the track replay system, our video producers do also, would they like to see improvement? for sure, we all do. We plan to redo the track replay system but it wont happen until we have free dev time, all teams are busy with current core projects. I think some of you forget we are not a massive studio compared to other companies, we do not have infinite resources. thank you
  5. Corsair in DCS is very tame compared to the Spitfire, Mosquito, and Kurfurst.
  6. Cool mod! Loving the flight model so far. I just found some bugs. They've probably been reported already but just thought I'd mention it just in case: - rain flows in the wrong direction on the right side of the canopy - after hooking a wire on the supercarrier, the aircraft gets permanently stuck on the wire without rolling back to retract the hook, and retracting the hook whilst in this stuck position has no effect - static Goshawks sit with their front wheels slightly off the ground - strange artifacts on the mirrors in the rear cockpit with the mirrors turned on - having selected the standard NAVY skin in the ME, the aircraft appears with a MARINES skin once loaded in the game Also have a quick question - I assume this is a feature, not a bug - does the throttle have a high flight idle with gear and flaps down? Anyways, looking forward to the v1.2 update. Can't wait to do some carrier stuff with it once we can get the supercarrier comms to work with it! Thanks for the hard work! Great aircraft
  7. The cannons are also lacking shells in their magazines, but they still work. At the moment it seems only the heavy flak is INOP as it tracks but doesn't fire.
  8. But some of the moderators/producers of this forum, even today and after everything that has been seen and said about the bugs of DCS “track files,” insist on using it as an excuse to dismiss certain bug reports—because for ED these are the elephants in the room (some problems have been around for so long in the game that the people responsible have grown so attached to them that they’re now incapable of killing the beast/bug). Needless to say, the method of having to come to the forum, make a report that’s open to discussion, seems absurd to me—because in 100% of cases, the first response always comes from a non-official “someone.” Then, after some time, a moderator shows up in that thread, usually 2 or 3 months later, and the most sensible thing they can think of is to ask you to create a short “track file” (as short as their reasoning) so they can start analyzing issues that have been reported here for many years. All this tells us is that they don’t feel like spending resources to fix certain bugs/problems/elephants. So the moderators/producers dedicate themselves to diluting problems: someone posts a report in the forum; outsiders jump in to say the OP is wrong, doesn’t know what they’re talking about, or hasn’t provided enough technical data to justify their complaint. Three months later, the producer in question asks for “proof” based on a corrupted file that’s completely useless. Some OPs waste their time generating that proof and attaching it to the thread. Another three months later—or maybe not—the producer gives an explanation in which, 99% of the time, they say they were unable to reproduce the OP’s error. And so the report sinks to the bottom of the programmers’ priority queue—in other words, it was never a high priority, but they never outright say no, they just completely ignore it, because for them it’s a problem they don’t want to face.
  9. Throwing my data in the pile (though track file too large to send). Flying single-player on Cold War Germany, cold start, simple range run out from Pferdsfeld to the Hammelburg range, dropping a stick of 12xMk82s, refueling at a tanker, and coming back to land gives me a perfectly normal replay track with no jitter. I have aircraft condition 100, wear and tear 0, "reference aircraft" is checked but I typically don't check that and don't recall any issues on those previous flights either. As to cold start having issues in replays because the crew chief commands don't work, I found the trick is to stay in F1 view and let the startup process finish before switching to an external view.
  10. If what you're reporting it's true, the MAV misaligned is acting like a INS weapon with a coordinate drift. We should have a MAV camera Line of Sight angle-to-angle align to reduce the offset between tgp and mav cameras.
  11. I could only find 1 in the 2024-2025 changelogs: How is it that devs won't even change cfg file to give us better lights/objects visibility over current 5km on NTTR? We know the new maps are priority but there's this feeling the devs have no time at all for older projects while a single % of their time dedicated would be enough. You've just said they can't use Scratch
  12. Hi, this is a subject that has been discussed many times, as mentioned before we have no plans for changing our payment model or adding subscriptions. thank you
  13. Thank you all for help. DCS is installed and running...
  14. I've attached my images to show noticable difference with my settings and Posohm's current settings. In his picture you cannot see anything, but mine is much better and you can even see IR "dots". I did mention that DCS sniper pod is a bit blurry than RL one, didn't I ? You can look it up above. I was able to use TGP without much problem. With TV mode during the day you can recognize anything. No problems there But with infra red modes, it is blurry. Hard to be sure what type of the tank it is, but I can see it is a tank (but not very far away). Just... a blurry tank. And use XR processing. It exists for a reason !
  15. Did you really mean "two weeks" or decades?
  16. My vote is for at least one camo and one bare metal livery for the countries that are represented on DCS terrains, where applicable of course.
  17. Должно же оставаться что-то присущее только человеку чтобы быть лишним поводом летац с человеком же
  18. Again, this should have had been with the Core...
  19. its a dcs developer tool not available to the public.
  20. In deed, just don't have a clue how to. That was my first way I tried to get it done - just didn't work at all
  21. I can't really imagine that. A lot of people here use QV and don't have that problem. There must be something else going on. Also remember to always install QV last so that the layers are in the correct order. Sometimes you even have to do that after a patch.
  22. today or not today, that is question

  24. For as long as I can remember, ED has had a problem displaying contrasts in the shadows of objects, and is unable to show enough gray steps. Anyone familiar with analog camera technology knows that high resolution is not necessary to display even the smallest objects at great distances on small monitors. The “trick” is that contrast and shadows/gray steps give objects a specific shape that the human brain recognizes on a 2D monitor and converts into a three-dimensional object. In all videos and images of the original data, at the same distances and despite the compression artifacts caused by uploading, the objects are clearly recognizable as aircraft and vehicles, even in BHOT Wide mode. In close-up view, details can be seen at a distance of 12 miles. You can even recognize what type of aircraft or vehicle it is. In DCS, nothing at all can be seen at the same distance, no matter how much you play with the brightness and contrast controls. DCS simply does not display shadows on the MFDs as they are constantly seen in the original data. You can see all of this perfectly in your images. All you see are 2D blobs because the gray streps are missing to give the objects the necessary depth so that our brain can generate objects from them. I just don't understand how you can't see that! If you look at how blurry and washed out the original images and videos are because this data has obviously been stretched (clearly visible from the fact that the MFD markers are all completely blurry too, like the whole picture, which would not happen), it becomes even clearer that what we see in DCS is significantly worse than what pilots see when they look at their displays. Let's summarize: DCS is unable to render enough gray steps as they appear in the original and attempts to simulate a lower image resolution with blur, which removes any depth and contour from objects, regardless of distance. Unless you explicitly use the digital amplifier in TV mode, all you see are blobs, unlike you can see in the original vids and pictures. Furthermore, ED is unable to provide a preset for the MFDs that delivers a high-contrast image. It is well known that a pilot has to adjust this image slightly, but the fact that the image of the MFDs delivers an inadequate image, regardless of whether it is a hot start or a cold start, is poor. And you can't make it look like in the vids from the Sniper Pod, no matter what you try, because of the missing gray steps! Together with the virtually non-existent shadows in modes other than TV, the current Sniper Pod from DCS does not even come close to what the original shows, even within the poor-quality videos. I would really like to see at least the image quality of the original videos, reduced by processing artifacts, available in DCS. Anyone who believes this to be the case should please provide the images to prove it! The image above show nothing like I can see in the Vids from the original Sniper Pod. Where are all the shadows and the gray steps from the contrasts? Please guys, look at the missing gray steps and shadows in DCS! Where are they? How will one simulate the same picture quality if there are not enough gray steps and nearly no shadows? Since when is an analog camera unable to deliver shadows like in DCS? Please! Look at the original vids and pictures. It's so obvious, that DCS currently doesn't deliver those things!
