  1. Past hour
  2. thank you for the tracks, this is already fixed internally and will be in a future update.
  3. You probably want to figure out a very basic intercept course at first, depending on the targets bearing and heading+speed. Doesnt have to be overly precise, but its useful to get there to give Jester the best ability to lock. I wouldnt purely rely on the lock to get an intercept course; sometimes the call is more than enough and you can just use the Boresight mode for a good and easy lock. Against AI I find Jester gets locks reliably enough tho. A lot of people seem to make mistakes not considering altitude; if you dont wanna play with radar elevation, it helps to be slightly lower than your target. Thats best for the default scan volume and the radar likes the lack of clutter anyway. If you are somewhat certain about the targets direction, you can switch radar to 30 degree scan, that can speed up acquisition. Against low flying human players, things can get a lot more complicated. You often cant really guarantee to get a useful lock, especially at ranges where Aim-7s are effective, due to the 4 second delay. Again, getting your own intercept course, having SA and spotting enemies yourself is quite valuable.
  4. Shiftall MeganeX exceeds your budget, but is among the best experiences currently available. It checks all the boxes -- small form factor, micro OLED screens, good lenses, great tracking, vivid colors, pure blacks, OpenXR. Its shortcomings include average FOV, slight glare, no built-in speakers. Recommend checking its Discord if at all interested.
  5. I hope is enough to change EDs mind. Not very confident
  6. I know of an example from Cherbourg where the Coast Guard was using a 1W signal which was received by a boat 60 nm away. It comes down to the antenna if you have a decent radio. It also depends on the atmospheric conditions. 60nm is not impossible.
  7. Just for clarity and avoidance of confusion. RSBN stands for nav system beacons, like VOR/DME or TACAN. For instrumental landing guidance PRMG beacons are used.
  8. Good idea! Stupid question perhaps, but where can i find the beacon info in ME?
  9. This will only work for common controls which could be done automatically with a control set up wizard.
  10. А режим кабрирования у 29, "в жизни", тоже так же работает как в симуляторе? Т.е. выполняется набор прямо над целью, и на 100-110 градусах происходит сброс.
  11. A bench marking tool would be a great way to provide data for a graphics configuration wizard
  12. Hello, as the title states. It would be nice to have the RSBN / PRMG unit's frequencies listed in mission editor beacons info in blue like it is done with the portable TACAN unit, so you can refer to it and check against the RSBN / PRMG frequencies already on the map. Thanks Jens
  13. Yes, it's really coarse, at least when using digital input. If the input was finer then you might, at least, get near a somewhat trimmed out level flight. But if that's the way the real trimmer works then I guess that's fine. I'm also with the "as long as it is a close to the real thing"-camp.
  14. I support the wish. The units settings for the aircraft should not have landed into the global options. It should stay in special options for specific aircraft. I get the wish for english cockpit (although still unrealistic) but changing units to imperial, while it was only done in G version, is imho over the board.
  15. Zooming works fine to me. Maybe check your control settings, sometimes more than one axis is assigned to zoom or button is pressed for slow zooming or (quick) zooming. I have been using cockpit zooming through all time with new MiG29 and I had no issue.
  16. В жизни это практически бесполезная опция
  17. Везучий человек, завидую...
  18. I do sometimes have talks with people about where green ends and blue starts. I have no problems with color visions, but at times my brain interpretes those colors differently than many others With reflections and different lighting conditions it only gets more complex. Our brains always try to estimate what a color would look like under 'normal' light conditions before determining what color it actually is. Its messy and can border on religion. So no wonder people struggle with stuff like modelling how light works in model planes. For those who know:
  19. Oh I have this! It’s a great document
  20. If this solution doesn't work I made an OvGME version of @celestHawk file, ready without unzip No Pause Briefing 2.9.20 V2.0.zip
  21. I ran for a long time with a 20cm extension, 100% Y Saturation, and a 15 curve, with a smooth cam (no notch), and a minimal springs.
  22. this issue has been reported and a fix should be coming soon thank you
  23. A me nessun riavio.
