  4. Never mind; I got it working! You can overload any texture file that is part of the livery. It just happens to be that there are not yet any modded Fulcrum pilots in the DCS liveries. For anybody searching for the solution: Open the model that you want to mod in the modelviewer2. Regenerate LUA: Alt+Ctrl+Shift+G Read the LUA to see the names you need to map.   5. Hi-thanks for the response-This is for DCS. When I disable speech recognition, and after setting up the PTT and the plug in, Whisper attack acknowledges the PTT, but returns "Silence" or a couple times something like "loud music".
  6. If I wanted to release something separate for the Dora, I'd not simply convert the missions but build new ones. But it's not in the plans. However, there are 2 bonus missions for the Dora that come with the Horrido campaign.

  8. I have tried it for myself Real world in another platform ... Basic Range and Endurance control theory.
  9. Try it yourself! Max range is Mach 0.5-0.6 below 5 km and Mach 0.8 at 12 km. At 12 km Mach 0.8 you will be closer to 7 degrees. However max endurance is 400 kmh IAS. I believe those GAF numbers are for lower altitude (0-5 km) and are simply not saying so. Per practical aerodynamics “the most advantageous angle of attack is 4...7 depending on the altitude”

  12. Hey folks, I am unable to adjust my instrument panel brightness knob in the F18. I go to move it and it automatically jumps back into a different position. I can see it moving on it's own...kind of twitches back and forth....but it won't let me me adjust it. It is almost like it has a mind of it's own, lol. I have been playing DCS for two years on the same rig in VR and no issues...all of a sudden after all the updates I have this problem, uggg. Anyone have a fix?

  14. The F-14Ds APG-71 can be controlled from the front seat, check out the Tomcast episode with "Fun" on the F-14Ds systems, the Pilot interviewer, Crunch (F-14D Pilot), clearly talks about and they both agree on being able to use the APG-71 from the front seat

  22. Here is my take on making Antenna elevation control in the MIG29 in a Free search (no GCI) situation manageable. I fly in Imperial so I have used nm and feet for the discussion. Situation: TDC position in range coupled with Delta H selection controls Antenna elevation and therefore the altitude coverage. With a Fixed Delta H changing the TDC position in range causes the Antenna elevation to change. So as you move the TDC over the target Antenna elevation will change, at close ranges this antenna elevation can be large. Radar Specs In search the 4 Bar scan covers on average 10 degrees. The coverage does in fact vary depending on function and TDC range position but 10 degrees is a good calculation compromise. Each click of Delta H varies the beam centre Altitude coverage by 1000m or 3280' Proposed solution: To minimize pilot workload and keep elevation control workable I suggest placing the TDC at 30nm range. This is a typical contact range in the Mig29. It also means that small TDC changes in TDC range to place it over the target will not result in large changes in Antenna elevation. As can be seen in the diagram below the 10 degrees covers a fair bit of sky 32,000' at 30nm and 64,000' at 60nm. In addition its worth pointing out with the TDC at 30nm each click of Delta AH means a 1 degree change in Antenna elevation. If running at sea level then to get the bottom of the beam at and parallel to the ground then set TDC at 30nm and delta H at +5. (5 clicks of Delta H = 5degrees in elevation) Once you have the search process done then consider going into TWS as Antenna elevation will be controlled by the FCS.

  24. Bought the L-39 during the last sale and I keep finding myself loading it up. The C version, no gunsight or weapons. Just flying for the sake of flying and navigating and takeoffs and landings. Really enjoying it.
  25. У меня вообще забавное. Захожу в игру. И в своих миссиях уже давно висит собственный шаблон миссии (можно сказать для учебно-тренировочных задач) где есть и заправщик и авианосец и цели на земле. Это все на карте Кавказ. Так вот, обратил внимание что при первом запуске у меня стабильные 60 кадров в секунду в любой момент времени на любой точке карты. А при последующих запусках даже при условии что я ничего не менял в редакторе миссий ФПС просаживается в разы. В некоторых местах чуть ли не до 23-25 кадров. Независимо от того какие настройки графики в игре я сделаю. Независимо от настроек драйвера. Уж и не знаю в чем причина. Тут и обновление игры последнее могло повлиять и драйвера тоже недавно обновлял.
