  5. Been out of loop on Afghanistan and bought the whole map on launch day, is it complete now? ISTR it was sold in 3 or 4 sections but I bought the whole, thinking this could be the largest map which I aim to use to get back into DCS after a hiatus with the C-130J.

  7. The Request: An option to not have units auto populate on the COORD page. Possible Solutions: Use the hidden from planner option, or disabling their EPLRS(Set the unit's position datalink on/off.) The issue: When making a mission or flying a mission/campaigns/multiplayer. The units throughout the map they automatically populate on the ctrlm coord page. And it can fill up all 9 pages quickly. The second issue, if you need to make a route or add units that use control measures (FARP with ammo/fuel, bridge, friendly grids, etc) You're going to have to delete the already populated ctrlm points 1 by 1. The only way I have found to make the units not populate on the CM/CTRLM is with the "Hidden on map" option. But this also hides the unit on the F10 map so if you're using that as a blue force tracker for example now you can't see the units. I tried disabling their EPLRS, hidden from planner but nothing happens with that.

  9. Yes, that's exactly what I meant. None of the varients will have contrast locking behavior either, they snap to the center of any defined object in the world, with some notable exceptions.
  10. WOW!!! Bandit you've done it yet again!! This mod of yours is truly a "must have" for all DCS pilots and mission makers alike. I'm sure I speak for everybody that uses your awesome mod when I say THANK YOU FOR ALL THE PREVIUOS RELEASES AND ALL YOUR HARD WORK.
  11. hello, i am trying to capture any cockpit button press in a .lua script and then make a sound play. can this be done with dcs-bios or something else. Here is what i am really trying to do. i play VR so i like the VR hands but they have no haptic feedback. i am trying to detect a button pressed then send a sound to a bluetooth audio module which then vibrates. this gives me instant feedback that the button really was pressed and immersion is much better. sorry controllers do viberate, but your stuck with weird fingers and hand offsets. i have not used dcs-bios and am trying to research it to see if its a option. thanks

  14. Let's look at the bright side: the more time there is until an upgrade on those maps, the more new tech on terrain they'll end up featuring. Still there is vegetation new techs for a Vietnam map where even NTTR and PG would benefit from.
  15. Do so in what way it will change the map and how different will it be after that change? This is one thing they love to hear and last thing to make us.
  16. I just made a mission that AI took off from Bodo but they get stuck on the runway when they land. They apply afterburners but still can't move
  17. Iraq terrain module is poorly managed and poorly made. I apologize but it's clearly seems to be that way. Urban area are way overly too dense for no good reason, it's even much denser than the real Iraq did... which is not only it doesn't offer any significant of visual quality improvement but it's also hurts the FPS severely. And the very same problem are also present in the Afghanistan terrain module. I’m disappointed not by just the map but also by the artistic approach in general. Honestly, both the Iraq and Afghanistan modules feel like they were rushed out just so they could be put on sale… To me, Early Access is supposed to let people get a proper glimpse of what’s being cooked. A small piece that’s well baked and well managed, one by one, district by district, mountain by mountain, village by village. Instead, what we get is a massive half-baked and half-finished terrain released just to appear finished. I think that’s not what Early Access is supposed to be...
  18. All you have to do is go on the F10 map, select the "Mark Label" circle icon from the top of the screen, click somewhere on the F10 map and it makes the mark
  19. Just like the topic says. Also I am not getting info on datalink tracks consistently on TWS when hovering over with the tdc. I have to go to the SA page. The air to air radar is a big enough mess right now that it is not worth doing any air to air BVR.
  20. Non-official aircraft don' t have access to the official Software Development Kit (SDK) that paid modules have access to. The radio functionality is part of the SDK. Yes, some mods have managed to emulate the official DCS radio functionality, but it's not common.
  21. True, as am I. However I had not disabled the onboard WiFi or Bluetooth as I have never used them. They were my issue and may help someone else.

Perhaps you don't care about using real tactics and have known for a decade that units drive right through each other. What is a track going to prove to anyone that you can't do quicker by setting it up yourself. Note that's a statement not a question. "Move on" to just accepting it and accepting more and more early access that goes on for years. Bugs and other issues, plenty of which has been mentioned already. Clearly this thread has ticked a nerve or it wouldn't be this active. So yeah, perhaps it'll gain some footing to get action. Currently proper tactical attacks are nigh pointless. Quite an important thing for a combat simulator. Especially given there's a module where you can control ground units too. Hopefully dynamic campaign does address this successfully. In two weeks.   24. I was able to get though a whole flight the other day with no issues. I tried the same thing again now and this time it did crash. Both the screen and DCS. It also informed me of a crash log being generated. Which I attached. I tried to find the line VISUALIZER (Main): [20:16:47.822][Info ] OpenXR: System Eye Gaze Interaction Properties: Name=Pimax Crystal Super VendorId=13476 is not supported! But did not seem to be able to locate it. I did see the cracksmask lua still... not sure what that might be. any ideas from the new log? Thanks dcs.log
